  1. Because when i said the people who said it were talking bol*ocks I was told I was negative, anti saints/Cortese and troll. I was none of those things, just realistic.
  2. I won't take anything Ralph says seriously until he's out himself on the front of the matchday programme.
  3. No one ever said it was time to cash in on Jack cork.
  4. Another thing that most definitely didn't happen and wasn't said on here ever were the claims by some that we wouldn't need to spend £100s of millions to make the champions league, that all our players would stay with us because they are all mates and that we'll take our inevitable place in the top 4 sooner rather than later with those and all the players that would queue up to join us for less money than on offer elsewhere because its a nice place to live, got an airport, near the sea and the new forest, the shopping in west quay will impress the players wives and the schools are amongst the best in Hampshire. No one ever claimed this, ever. It didn't happen.
  5. Oh there were plenty who belittled the league cup and claimed they didn't care about it. One of only two trophies we have half a chance of winning Was beneath us as a club with only one major trophy to our name.
  6. So what was Corteses 'vision'? he said a lot and promised a lot but didn't stick around to see it through. He didn't believe enough in his vision to see it through to completion. Why was that? If it was because the owners didn't share his vision then and won't provide the funding to see it through then it wasn't a vision at all. It was one mans dreams telling people what they wanted to hear and being lapped up by the suckers who sang his name and worshiped at his alter. If it was indeed a lack of funding as to why he quit then Cortese 'vision' wouldn't have happened even if he'd stayed, so he was, as they said in Top Gun 'an ego writing cheques his body can't cash'. If it wasn't a lack of funding and the owners shared his vision then why do you think the tap has been switched off and someone else can't build on what he left behind?
  7. What about all those that decided the league cup was beneath us and there was plenty, that is was "champions league or nothing"?
  8. I'm not joking. 100% true.
  9. I remember when we were in league one and current England international and football writers player of the year Scott Parker was suggested as a realistic possible signing.but then those were the days when MLG told us we were the most attractive side for a player outside of the top 4 in the premier league so I can see why people might have thought it.
  10. I doubt he is. He wouldn't have won league titles, the FA cup played in the champions league and earnt £80k a week if he'd remained at saints.
  11. Can I be the first to crack the inevitable 'I thought he retired when he left Chelsea' gag.
  12. Why? 8 posts a day, an average for 2 minutes a post = 16 minutes a day. Can do that whilst on the sh*tter. Which I often do to be honest.
  13. Like you say, I find it odd that someone who is posting and arguing on a football forum would have a go at someone else for how much they post on a football forum, whilst arguing with that person. it's clearly an attempt to belittle the person they are arguing and suggest that because they post less they obviously know far more about the subject in question and in any case have a far better life, because they are spending less time arguing on a forum, although they do seem to get much more hot under the collar when they do. It's also interesting to see that the 'bully boys' who were making all sorts of accusations at me yesterday have gone quiet since being invited to provide evidence of their claims. Making unsubstantiated accusations and then failing to back them up. Kind of troll like isn't it?
  14. Can someone confirm what the acceptable limit of posts is please? Whenever anyone gets in (and is usually losing) an arguement with someone who has a higher number of posts than them the default insult seems to be to accuse them of having no life due to the amount if posts they have. So what Is the cut off point when you do have a life and what is the acceptable number of posts to have?
  15. You're last paragraph is something special pal. Giving advice to someone you've never met on how to improve a life you've invented they have, all from 'an experienced citizen of the world' shortly after slamming someone's 'immature debating skills'. Excellent work sir!!!
  16. What crusade is this? Come on, this should be good.
  17. Quote where I have insulted someone on this thread to an equivalent level to i have been. Personal stuff about my life, called someone a c*nt etc. If what you say is true is should be easy.
  18. So My life is pointless but it's not me bring personal abusive, screaming and crying and demand the mods protect me from the nasty men I don't like because and anonymous Internet forum isn't exactly how I dreamt it would be. lmao
  19. Wow! Look at all the 'bully boys' name calling, being personal and abusive, I think that's five in the last hour, yet this is all fine on their forum! No need for the mods to take action on this I imagine!!!! A master class in mongboard hypocrisy. Well done chaps.
  20. More abuse and name calling, love it another one who can't control himself. Brilliant stuff this. Love your speaking for everyone too, 'most people'. LMAO.
  21. Are you joking? He got death threats?!!!! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!! We really do have some proper mental fans.
  22. Why do people find it nessasary to criticise this article? It's fair enough and Hodgson makes a valid point that the players know what to expect and boredom is a poor excuse for poor performance. Some may recall boredom was one of the lines trotted out for our failure in a previous competition.
  23. Felt his treatment by some fans was shameful to be honest. Booing him when he came on, sarcastic applause when he was substituted, some games even heard groups of fans chanting for him to f*ck off. Was a good player for us in L1 and the championship and has others has said not pl standard but always put a shift in wherever asked and played in a number of positions, been dropped several times and never appeared to complain. Compare that to the way Puncheon treated the club and the way he was welcomed back by some fans and I really struggle to understands the mindset of some of our supporters. Good luck Guly not the greatest player to ever wear a saints shirt but a good guy who like others who have already gone did the job he was brought in to do very well and didn't deserve the treatment he got at times.
