  1. Yet in the next breadth are slamming people for on here at every opportunity for the slightest suggestion of homophobia, racism and sexism, which are all openly encouraged in the Koran. It really is odd that they will stop at nothing to protect a religion which supports the things they claim to be against themselves.
  2. Very good performance. How much better do we look without the so called superstars like Rooney, Cole, Gerrard. Still a few weak areas mainly centre back, Henderson should not be there but we looked a good side tonight.
  3. "That would also make you look like less of a thick ****" said the person who's immediately resorting to abuse and swearing such is their desperation to defend their position. You couldn't make it up.
  4. The peaceful religion strikes again. Let's hear the excuses for this one, of you go. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3509367/Muslim-shopkeeper-stabbed-death-hours-posted-happy-Easter-message.html
  5. On of the things that always puzzles me is why Bill Wyman has never been prosecuted for only have a sexual relationship with Mandy Smith when she was just 14.
  6. Surely we can dismiss this article as left wing, Muslim loving clap trap whilst giving the source a hilarious nickname such as the muffington post. This what happens when any article negative towards Muslims in the "daily fail" is right wing, racist, Muslim hating clap trap?
  7. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spion_Kop_(stadiums) It's getting a reputation.
  8. Good point Timmy. If every English person was like you we'd be a nation full of wet lettuces with chips on our shoulder.
  9. I'm sure people will be a long in a minute to remind us how great immigration is, how we need to embrace islam and how it's okay because it isn't all of them doing it.
  10. Its hilarious how Toby's like always_sfc and SOG ask for evidence, then when it's provided those that do are accused of bullying and trolling.
  11. Quite, there's the grey area. if you're going to base it on what they did for saints then Shearer doesn't get in, neither does Bale and arguably Keegan. Shaw, Bridge, Dennis to name but 3 were all better left backs for saints than Bale, who wouldn't be playing st left back if it was based on his career anyway. If it's what they did in their careers then they walk into the side as does Alan Ball and you could make a case for the likes of Mark Hughes and plenty of others such as Andre Kanchelskis and Jamie Redknapp to be included who whist being poor for saints were excellent players in his day.
  12. How on earth can you have lambert in over Shearer?
  13. Correct. I'm not sure where the CoC myth started that no one would ever leave if he was here as he has a 100% conversion rate when it came to sales v big offers for players. Despite brash claims that he threw bids for players in the bin once daddy chamberlain got on the blower telling him that arsenals bench was preferable to Corteses ambition Nick nack bottled it and flogged him quicker than it took him to clean out the team coach after Plymouth away. Another amusing thing is how the CoC continue to claim that we were all set to crack the top 4 because the dwarf talked a good game. But this isn't bore out by any facts. We may have had a decent first XI when he was here but underneath that the cupboard was bare as proven by the fact every time we got a couple of injuries we'd have our arses handed to us. Despite all his big talk in front of the cameras we could no doubt have expected big money spent on more disastrous signings like Osvaldo and Ramirez but hey, he showed ambition, right? Then of course is the undeniable fact that once he was asked to stop spunking money up the wall and actually make a few quid he went running to the dole queue, not into the arms of the AC Milan owners who he claimed had courted him for 4 years. An employee shouting from the roof tops about what they are going to do isn't a vision if it isn't shared by your bosses it's some egoed, big mouth telling people what they want to hear for his own ends. A lot of people have seen through it now but some faithful souls still believe the gospel according to Nick Nack. Although as we've seen history is showing that what we achieved in his time here was inspite of him. It because of him.
  14. Why don't you offer an opinion on the topic and stop posting about me for once? Being obsessed with posters on a football forum isn't healthy pal. It's pretty odd actually.
  15. For a long time the whipping boy the villain of the piece for what appeared to be no other reason than saints payed a big fee for him. Long was the evidence that bumbling Les didn't have a clue what he was doing paying that much for a player like him. Every mistake was jumped upon, every miss highlighted. He was a championship player and no better than Brett Ormerod. So what is the view now? Has Shane Long been our best striker this season? Has His performance made him undroppable right now? Did bumbling Les make another balls up when signing him? Or is he still a rich mans Brett Ormerod a poor player who just runs around a lot.
  16. Less of the "we're all" anything top 10 would be a good season in my book. People forget that it'd be only the second time in hour history we'd have achieved 3 consecutive top 10 finishes in top flight
  17. The problem with Yoshida is he gives away at least one goal scoring opportunity a game. At this level that usually gets punished, he's decent enough for most of the game but seems to suffer from lapses in concentration or plain on stupidity. He could arguably have cost us two penalties recently away at Swansea and home to west ham where he made clumsy and unessasary challenges. I agree with you though its a problem for most clubs , even Man United with all there money don't have a decent centre half between them and Carrick there is ridiculous, IMO one of the best midfielders in the league being played out of positions weakens them in two positions not just one.
  18. We all have players we love to hate, but who are the top three players past or present who have done things against Saints that you have never forgiven them for and why? Mine Adrian Heath Everton - 14th April 1984, 3 minutes of extra time left in the 1984 Semi final and he scores the winner for Everton. Ian Rush - Liverpool- two years later, scores two extra time goals for Liverpool in the 1986 FA Cup semi final Paul Davis - Arsenal - Saints led 2-0 at Highbury in 1988, Paul Davis punches Glen Cockerill behind the refs back breaking his jaw. Davis stayed on and Arsenal go on to equalise in the 9 minutes of injury time added on for the injury. Arsenal would go on to win the title that season on goal difference with a 2-0 over Liverpool at Anfield. I've never liked Arsenal since.
  19. We certainly did. Top 5 finishes two seasons in a row, European Football, two FA Cup semi finals in 3 seasons, a brilliant team with first choice England internationals and top young players like Steve Moran and Danny Wallace mixed in with quality older players like Jimmy Case, Joe Jordan. That was the first saints team I started watching and I thought it would always be like that. After Adrian Heath made me cry in 1984 my dad gave me the best bit of advise he ever did, something along the lines of "you'll get used to days like this".
  20. He could stick £5k on Spurs to win it at 11/4 with various companies and win another £18k to soften to blow if they don't win it.
  21. And we won there in the cup last season.
  22. It'd be fabulous that wouldn't it. 10th place in around clubs like Everton and Stoke and Watford, clubs you dream we could be like. You must be over the moon that we're matching those clubs that you've been lauding all season.
  23. Koeman clearly tells players to get set off to give him an excuse for our poor form as he isn't interested and is managing his way out of saints. You can tell that from his body language the last few weeks.
  24. I'd like to see a tribute to all the great chairman we've had. Alan Woodfords cigars and brandy glasses, guy Askhams biscuit tin, Rupert's shooting jacket, the saints go wilde t-shirts and of course homage to Corteses built up shoes.
  25. It 4 years time the Middlesborough web will be reminiscing about that Wolves game where Ramirez showed he clearly has talent.
