Talking of players we were linked with, Jack Butland currently playing for Barnsley v Sheff Wed, hardly the answer to our goalkeeping problems she was billed as. Antonio, who we were assured by some was a future premier league star and absolutely brilliant playing for Wednesday and been awful. Dale Jennings has just replaced the ineffective Jacob mellis too

Surely that are all banging on their forum that they took around 45,000 to Wembley once so need a stadium that big?

Its incredible that everytime you leave the house you end up having in depth conversations with Germans who know everything there is to know about Southampton FC. -
Millwall and Luton took similar amounts to Wembley in recent season, do they need a 45,000 stadium too?

Threads like this you mean? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?37346-St-Mary-s-What-we-might-expect-to-see-happen-(and-possibly-announced-soon)#.UmmI3TK9KSM Comedy gold that thread. Hotels, airlines, dragons den, Steve jobs all getting a mention as to reason why we should expand.

Yes it is. but at the end of the day the club will want to maximise revenue from all means possible, especially with the financial fair play thing coming in soon. Which is why cortese hash shown little desire to reduce prices to boost attendance. He didn't do it when we were getting 21,000 in league one. He didn't do it when we were getting 26,000 in the championship and he isn't going to do it now were getting 30,000 in the premier league. Its simple maths, 30,000 at £40 is for more profitable than 32,500 at £25. Argue all you want about if its right or not, but Cortese is a banker, bankers make (or lose) money, they aren't known for being great guys who love their customers, everyone seems to be lauding his ruthlessness when it suits them but not so much in this scenario .

Did he also offer you tickets when we play them in the champions league and spend the rest of the night drinking beer and singing the Adam Lallana song with you, just like the very knowledgable about Saints Bayern Munich fans you met two weeks ago? -
What were you expecting from a prematch interview? Would you rather have you leg bitten off by a badger or your arm ripped off by a grizzly bear?

You are though Drunken rants, endless typing, posting lots but saying nothing, obsessions with internet posters. Odd.

You're odd.

I can't wait to see one of our comedians and their made up conversations between the lazy lying scumbag journo and the lazy lying scumbag editor about how they can destabilise us. We haven't had one of them for a while which is a shame as not only are they side splittingly hilarious they are not doubt 100% accurate too.
-
That was lies too apparently
-
So just a laying lying journo scumbag rehashing someone else's old story.
-
Presumably we all believe the David Astori Article in the same paper. Or is it still only the mirror who hate us?

No mate, they don't have sports bars in Marrakech, 'marocko' you didn't research your holiday very well did you.

Do you think any chairman at any club cares what ten year olds will be doing in 70 years time? And why do kids for a quid? We've sold 28,000 tickets at top whack for every game this season, why slash them to sell a maximum of 4,000 more for less revenue than we would have at full price? Again i'm not saying i agree with it, but why from a revenue generating perspective does it make any sense to do it?
-
Wasnt this the paper we dismissed as lying bullsh*tters making things up when they linked Osvaldo with a loan move to Juventus on monday?
-
I hope so, I'd still rather Leeds than be a Man United, Chelsea etc or even worse a Liverpool as that is what his uncle up here is determined to make him.
-
Perhaps, but the fact remains if over the season we sell around 90% of capacity at the higher price over the season the club will feel that the pricing was just about right. I'm not saying it is or I agree with it but from the business and income perspective that is how they'll look at it. Saints aren't alone by the way, man United and City have both been advertising on radio round here for tickets to their lower category games, Leeds territory!
-
Our prices are pretty much in line with everyone else in the league. When you consider the investment in the squad over the last two years I'm not really sure what people are complaining about. http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2013/jun/19/premier-league-ticket-prices-club-charge-the-most
-
They haven't though have they. If they are selling 90% of tickets at the highest price possible then it suggests that actually they've got the price spot on.
-
So people want investment the side and multimillion pound signings, good football, challenging at the top of the premier league all at championship prices? The fact we selling around 90% of tickets at the high price means the club have got the pricing policy bang on doesn't it?
