Apart from on here of course, where according to you we are all racists, homophobic, sexist, all of the above.

I am embarassed that our fans have the nerve to acuse fans of West Ham for being arrogant then in the next breath bang on about us needing a bigger stadium because QPR do. Because when we are in the premier league we might sell out. Because Wolves are expanding. We are aren't even selling out SMS week in week out now. Why the f*ck are we on about a bigger stadium? Why the f*ck are we on about "when we are in the premier league" Isn't this arrogant? It is when West Ham do it. Seriously, tonight will be a bit of test. Going for 20 wins in a row, Hull are potential promotion rivals. How many will be there? I'd be surprised if it's much more than half the 44k capacity we apparantly need. When we sell out SMS every week. When we having a waiting list for season ticket holders. When it is finacially viable to expand and fill 44k without giving tickets away to kids for nothing. Then and only then can people have any basis to say, "you know what, we might need to expand". Not "look at QPR. Look at Wolves. Look at what Chelsea did in 1982. Look at Man City. Man United did it, why cant we?" And not forgetting last time we were in top flight where we were literally turning tens of people awy for the big games, suddenly this is going to become 12,000 is it?

Jam summed it up. THe delusion in our fanbase is unreal, summed up by Dave in Swedens post. Man United did it FFS!!!
-
F'ckin hell fella, Manchester United!!! The biggest club in the world who had an academey which included 3 of the worlds best players at the time and many other full of internationals. That's it then, i'm convinced, if Man United can do it why cant we?!!

Because unless i am much mistaken an English club of Saints size has NEVER qualified for the champions league with a team full of acdemy graduates. There are a whole host of clubs of similar size to Saints who have consitantly failed to keep their star kids from the clutches of big clubs. Because there is no evidence to suggest Saints have ever needed a ground bigger than 32,000. Because at the moment we are in the Championship and just come out of league one. Because whatever Wolves, Fulham, Chelsea, QPR, Barcelona, Paris St Germain, Sport Lisbon, Visla Krakov, Boca Juniors and River Plate do is not evidence Saints need or can fill a 44k stadium. Because people are talking about being back in the premier league like it's a give. Guess what? It aint. Because until we are back in the premier league and selling out week in week out and turning away thousands of fans week in week out having weekly discussions about filling a 44k stadium is utterly pointless. We aren't even filling a 32k stadium week in week at the moment FFS.

Dorkish? THat's got me, i dont know how i'll ever recover from such an attack. Of course i am sure Westender can point to a whole host of middle sized clubs, similar in size to Saints that can give us optimism that its possible for a club of Saints size to keep hold of their star young players and build a champions league side around them. I mean there are loads of them aren't there? just ask Sunderland, Middlesborough, Aston VIlla, West Ham, etc how easy it was.
-
On believe me fella, there are some that do. And it's entirely possible isn't it, they said man would never climb Everest once.
-
Prehaps i could learn a bit more from you? Tell me, at an age where you are mature enough to have a family life how you can naively believe we can become one of the biggest clubs in the world and why a man of your age doesn't have better things to do than sit around day dreaming of academy graduates playing champions league football in a 50,000 seater stadium. I'd have though the experience that Saints have never done it and only a handful of clubs all of which much bigger than us have would rein in your dilusion.

You have to remember despite being an expert on everything and being a Question Time addict, Andy has probably never met a person with those views or an immigrant for the matter, it's difficult meeting people from behind your computer screen in you middle class house in Hampshire. I can't wait to hear his uni reports when he moves to his cultural melting pot he is dreaming about, then we'll see if his ideological views on the world get tainted or not.

Exactly what i thought. Looked like a crack head to me. Which means if nothing else you'd get a BJ for a score and she wont have many teeth so might be money well spent. If you like that sort of thing, obviously.

Just hit 60k, which is why i'm looking now as like you i thought it was 60k, although just seen on line someone say 72k for my car.

Saab 93 1.9TDI, 2006. Cant find it anywhere online.

In alot country where there are economic difficulties there is a rise in support for far right organisations and immigrants coming in seen as "taking our jobs" are an easy target. However, support for the EDL and BNP is only relatively a handful of people. I dont see how anyone can argue that we haven't had too many immigrants come in over the last 10-20 years but generally the ones that do come here are made welcome. lets not forget as well not all of them are model citizens. One in Seven people in prision in the UK are foreign and they have their own militant groups as well just like the EDL.

Would you press charges in Katharine Goldberg groped you?
Turkish replied to buctootim's topic in The Lounge
In the words of Richard Keys, I'd have smashed it. -
what mileage do you need to change it FFS? Cant find it anywhere online.

If 3 or 4 people had back her up rather than playing on their phones i'm sure she'd have piped down.
-
Oh do give it a rest Michael. Britain is one of the best countries in the world at integrating immigrants. You'll always get the odd crack head like her but generally as a nation we are pretty accepting. We've just got too bloody many of them!!
-
You are partly right Andy. Only two people actually had the balls to say anything, the rest of them were stood around too busy pretending it wasn't happening and playing with their phones, even filming it FFS. The Britain i know didn't let that sort of things go on and stand by like nothing was happening. It does reflect some of modern Britain, people with their heads in the sand, pretending nothing is wrong, too wrapped up their own self interest. All those of their phones are probably on facebook reading statuses about TOWIE and what people are having for dinner than actually telling the stupid crack whore to shut the f*ck up

What time you arriving mate? I'm heading down from Harrogate, probably get the train about 11 so get to Donny for about 12.30. You about for a beer?
-
Good for QPR. But why does it matter what QPR do? One reason why what they do effects SFC.

It has been my life long ambition to be a credible poster on an anoynomous internet forum. I dont deny i said that, i said it about this time last year when we were bloody awful and i said it again February after witnessing a defeat in a lame midweek away performance devoid of ideas, creativity and spirit against a team with the 2nd worst home record in the country at that time. Promotion looked a mile off and i was glad to be wrong as we went onto win 13 of our next 14 games on an incredible run which no one saw coming and as it turned out was needed given the form of Huddersfield. So sneer if you want that i wasnt confident of us going on the best winning run in history after losing at the team second bottom. Did you drive to Wallsall that night? Or were you sitting at home behind your keyboard dreaming of the champions league. the 5 year plan. Beating AC Milan and Real Madrid with our team full of academy graduates. Our massively expanded stadium. Winning the league and proving that you dont need to spend £300m to do it, you just need a good academy. When is your sense of reality going to catch up with your physical age? If i didn't know better i'd guess you were a head in the clouds dreamer about 12.
-
When are you going to get it? It's doesn't f*cking matter what QPR need. It doesn't f*cking matter that Chelsea only got 13k in 1982. It doesn't f*cking matter that Wolves might. Maybe. One day. Possibly. If Saturn and Venus are aligned and they sell out a stadium of 26k a week, expand their stadium to 45k or whatever. It's doesn't f*cking matter what Fulham, Liverpool, Sunderland, Dagenham, Cardiff, Aberdeen or Wilsa Krakov do. None of it, not one little bit of it, is evidence Southampton FC need or can fill a 45,000 stadium.

and he arrives, bang on cue. Adding his blinding and unarguable logic to the arguement that a medium sized football club can treble in size in 6 months and become as big as Barcelona because they said man would never climb everest.
-
I wonder if that'll be enough. Dont forget most of Wales, Cornwall and Devon will come to SMS to see premier league football when we get there. We are catering for half the country.
-
Now is the time to do it, we could fill 44k tomorrow easily. Afterall, they said man would never set foot on the moon.
