I am sure HMRC will add this to their image rights case: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/17/craig-bellamy-roberto-mancini-cardiff How can Bellamy be paid image rights by Man City when he is playing for Cardiff?

Perhaps AP is waiting until 4pm today to see if there any free agents available who used to be at a certain local club. -
It will be very interesting to see the FA's reaction to this! In effect, in order to preserve the integrity of the PL, the integrity of the FA Cup has been compromised, by a team that lest we forget, reached the final.
-
Indeed, the squad can be over 25 if the extras are Under 21. It is the over 21's who will have to go out on loan, perhaps this is the group that AP is waiting for?

For a few posts I thought we had got back to the subject matter!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/30/fulham-court-action-premier-league-dave-richards "Though he accepts he did speak with Portsmouth's then chief executive, Peter Storrie – a personal friend – Richards denies he sought to assist Spurs over Fulham." I not not sure that will help his case!!
-
I like the last paragraph "Sports clubs will be supporting Pompey on Tuesday. But as the taxman makes this a test case, those clubs might equally wish it was someone else going in to bat for them."
-
The first task is to decide if you just want the kids to learn to play, and give them all time, or do you want to produce a "winning" team. Either way you will lose players, and as View From The Top says, you can't win. Oh, and your phone bill will rise exponentially. But seriously, make sure they have a good coach to teach them how to play, understand the game, and most importantly enjoy the game. This way they will thank you in 10 years time!
