Hamstring Strain Recovery Times While every hamstring injury and the demands of your sport differ, here are some general hamstring strain recovery times when you follow an optimal physiotherapist-guided rehabilitation program. Grade 1 - 1 to 3 weeks Grade 2 - 4 to 8 weeks Grade 3 - 3 to 6 months. These may also require surgery.

Different sport I know but Conor Mcgregor suffered the following in his UFC fight last year and was out for 10 months. He had a torn ACL/MCL Strain and posterior horn meniscus tear. His fighting style is based on movement and he has apparently just broken records at a sport science lab that tests other elite athletes as part of the doco leading up to his fight on Sunday http://balls.ie/main-story/conor-mcgregor-broke-records-sports-science-documentary-last-night/ If he can come back and be effective then there is no reason Jay shouldn't as I would class MMA as having more movement variations to their knee's than footballers.

Andy Townsend to leave ITV (ITV.... that's ITV, not Sky!!)
Convict Colony replied to 5string's topic in The Saints
Whilst this is an important advance the war will truly never be won until Michael Owen is removed from his BT contract and Phil Neville from his BBC one. -
Eljero Elia - Confirmed 6 Month Loan
Convict Colony replied to Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd's topic in The Saints
Based purely on that interview I am going to put him into my dream team. edit: he's not bloody on there. -
Just as a point of interest incase someone didn't know the Kop at Anfield is named after the battle of Spion Kop where a lot of the Lancashire fusiliers died in the Boer war. I've been there, very interesting spot but not as awe inspiring as Rorke's drift and isandlawana thought but its not a competition.

Have we bought him yet Les ?

What about Milik at Ajax (on loan from Leverkusen) ? 20yr old polish forward, his strengths would suit us well and we could do innumerable "Got Milk" jokes. We could build him up and slowly introduce him into our system as Pelle's sub and he would obviously be familiar with our system and the previous dutch based players. I've also realised, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U are default always in a race for every player in europe, the things they do for clickbait. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/104257 Edit: his idol growing up was Thierry Henry so obviously a big fan of the Premier League and he speaks great english. Edit 2: I've 100% convinced myself we are buying him, I will be very disappointed in Les is we haven't by end of the window #meltdown

Just to get it in early, SportsnationHD have reported that there is no tv showing our game today and therefore they won't be able to show it. Consequently there should be no streams at all, but if you do post it here. Bummer

I would rather we source the next Bony or Benteke than pay for the EPL ready product. Pretty sure there are plenty of players who suit our system somewhere.

I normally sit in my living room and the noise level always seems to be loud, even the commentator on Thursday was on about how its a loud and passionate place is every time he comes.

Are we going to play this game of getting quotes when someone's form improves every time the same player has been sh*t for a month and a half and getting slagged off ? I reckon Tadic will be next up as he's slowly getting back into it after a dodgy 2 months, someone will go back and collect the quotes for an "i told you so" thread. I think we all forget that its these dudes first season in the premier league so whilst we moan we also should expect their form to be hit and miss. The moaning obviously increases in direct parallel with our results, if we are crap the moan-o-meter increases. Sadio was a crap Faustino Asprilla in Dec and in Jan he's the real Faustino, hope he's injured enough for the tournament but not enough to not be back after a week or so. Am looking forward to Elia to play this month, i reckon he's gonna be mustard. Getting my quote in early
