Les Reed is going be making a killing in the bookies IMO

Think it is up in the air to be honest, I think he maybe taking a year out but if a club interests him and he would like to join then that club pays Mainz the year remaining on his contract. "Tuchel, who has been the Mainz head coach since August 3, 2009 - twice leading the club to Europe during his tenure - has been linked with other clubs but nothing is yet known of his future plans." from a couple of weeks ago in a german newspaper http://www.dw.de/thomas-tuchel-leaving-mainz-05/a-17628183

What a bunch of tools, bad luck mate. I won't be going as live in Africa but it's on DSTV here for free so I will defo be watching it. Think Froch has an awkward style that is hard to deal with so I actually think groves will have greater understanding of how he needs to fight him. George starts fast and builds up a sizable lead before Frochs legendary endurance kicks in, the only question is whether he can catch groves before the end of the 12th. I would be seriously shocked if either ended it early. On a side note I flew to Helsinki from Singapore for his Artur Abraham fight and was lucky enough to be staying in the same hotel as him. On the morning of his fight he wonders downstairs and we just start chatting randomly and have a pic together, was a top man then but seems to of changed since his ward fight and the wider recognition from the boxing public. Groves on pts as his engine lets him get to 12.

I think the suggestions in here just go to show there are some quality unemployed managers out there that we've heard about let alone the ones who are employed or haven't really heard of. I'm excited it's a bit like waiting for Christmas, Ralph would make a good Santa.

Flying mattresses hahahahahaha never heard that one before, quality

I thought those porta potty chicks you have in Dubai were there for that reason or do they only like rich dudes on boats ;-)

Adam purely based on the suitors and ability to get a ROI. Liverpool have to pay for a 26yr old @ 25mil ish with no sell on value. Man U have to pay for a 18yr old @ 30mil ish who could go for even more in 5yrs. Not many young world class left backs knocking about who've done a season and a half in the EPL at 18yr. Where as there are plenty of world class midfielders knocking about who are younger, faster and cheaper, plus liverpool need to be spending money on their defence first as its f*cking sh*t.

Just listened to the adam blackmore interview and I think that is the best possible interview he could of given outside announcing new manager, Adam/Luke contract extension etc. Very clear, positive and I was really impressed and wondered where we got Mopo from so was interesting to hear we scout managers as well as players, Les Reed is playing real life football manager :-) Happier now and look forward to an appointment.

Though Yakin had a good chat yesterday with the local paper

Reckon Ralph is gonna take over as with his ice hockey knowledge having been a team coach and the fact that he thinks that football managers don't do much he can combine both roles.

hahaha true that

******** confirmed yesterday http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11810/9328299/ligue-1-marcelo-bielsa-appointed-as-new-marseille-head-coach

I will claim a gold star if we get Sampaoli as I have been championing him (below) for a long time since the Adkins thread Nov 2012, I would also add I can't find 100% confirmation that Biesla has signed on the dotted line for Marseille, just "agreement in principle"

England World Cup Squad - Lambert, Lallana and Shaw included

Think I need to step up my world cup decorations to this dudes level - -
Vogel the previous boss had lead them to the super cup in Switzerland but the first 2 months they were 4th in the league when he got sacked. Yakin was given the role having led Lucerne to 2nd place in the league the previous season, Yakin then led them to the double double over the next 2 years while players were being sold under him and had them playing a clear structured playing style which someone else noted involved the front 3 revolving during their games. He left at the end of season having given them notice as he wanted a bigger challenge outside of Switzerland, he has been linked with Lazio, Sampodoria and Us amongst others.

Nice article in ESPNFC, I can get behind all of the top 4 on their list, they ruined the credibility with the 5th entry. http://www.espnfc.com/blog/_/name/southampton/id/1399?cc=3888

Yakin every single day 10 times out of 10 from that list in the mirror. Young, hungry, worked with hardly any budget and developed players who were then sold (sound familar) and knows how to play the big teams having beaten chelsea twice, drawn with Spurs and beaten Zenit in european cup competitions over the last 2 years. Also for the headlines when he is signed and leaves. Yak-IN Yak-OUT

Yea I think I already read somewhere that there are breaks through out the contract, hopefully every week hahaha

What would be successful damage limitation?

Free wine to every SWF member (not 3 post lurkers) until the new season kicks off -
Football is a cutthroat business, we need to show some inner steel now, something that has been missing since the Don did one.

10000000000000000000%, if beating Chelsea and Spurs in Europe over the years and developing players with a low budget for the team isn't enough I look forward to seeing the guys credentials who is better.
