Simon Peach @SimonPeach 12m The more I hear about the Osvaldo incident, the less I think it is possible for him to play for #SaintsFC again. Players aren't happy.

I reckon he was caught ****ing in the shower over a teammate

Praying sign isn't it ?

Good analysis and I would concur on much of it. One thing I would mention that technique beats out mental every day of the week. I see Vic as more of a slow plodder who would wear you down as you can't put him down. My pound for pound champion mythical fighter in the squad would probably have to be Sam Gallagher. 6ft 4in, speed and technique with range combined with youth as well as being Scottish combines to make it a policemans worst nightmare.

Making stats suit your argument etc is all well and good and I have no idea what calculations were put into effect to create those but I can confirm the following: - I was ****ing screaming at the tv when I watched chance after chance get ****ed up or scuffed vs Sunderland (both times), Villa etc etc. - Every other team seems to score against us with their only chances, any hit and hope always seems to go in !!! (Sunderland/Spurs/Villa/Everton). - Dani has got better over the last 2 months by not playing, I expect he goes on a rampage and he scores 8 goals + by the end of the season. If there was a stat for least likely to lose the ball under pressure I would vouch for AL and Corky being up there with the best, the ball is glued to their feet in tight spaces. my own stats are: 5 beers so far. Conversion rate 100% Big Gulps taken 75% (got food stuck)

Gaston was looking perfect for his left foot centre of the goal when the ****ing tango man smashed him, feel sorry about the players now more than the 2 points dropped. -

The amount of chances was crazy, Ricky just can't play a full game in this system he looked knackered after 60mins, I really hope we play Dani next game as if we feed him this many chances he will score a tonne, Jrod should of done better for the other chances as well, his conversion % must be really low. Looks like Gaston has ligament damage and I would guess Lovren broken/fracture fibia looking where he was holding, not good, not good at all. I would of taken a draw before the game but the volume of chances we created and sunderland did nothing in the 1st half but they looked the only ones going to win in the end. Thought Morgan was missing today, Jack looked on his own, Chambers made quite a few errors and I am not sure Luke is comfortable 1-1 he looked like he would lose every one with Johnson. Bummed but C'est La Vie, its football but the injuries are a proper ****er especially Dejan. -

Analysis: Katharina Liebherr's ascent to the Southampton helm
Convict Colony replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Good read, have to say though that the opening line made me chuckle. "It was confirmed on Wednesday night that the daughter of the late Markus Liebherr would assume the position" -
I just checked by phoning my mate in East London to ensure the OP didn't mean South Africa but no joy, my dog on the other hand has been licking his knob a lot today so that is definitely a sign.

I'd like to know what has changed from last June when MP said he would walk, what has Katrina/Nicola said in the last 24hrs to make him change his mind ? Funds ? Selling the club to Nicola who needs funds to purchase etc. Also seeing an article doesn't Shaw have that clause inserted into his contract saying he can leave if Cortese does ?
-
I think Purslow was brought into Liverpool specifically to source and secure a buyer for the club from Gillet and Hicks which is why Liverpool fans speak highly of him. I would guess if he gets the gig unless they say otherwise he would be doing the same job here.

Better the devil you know and all that, change scares most people and Katrina is an unknown quantity. If she wanted to make a statement she can either sell an asset or since it is now her name on the door buy a 30 mil player to make the noise go away. If I was a billionaire horse wench I know I'd be spunking cash on a stallion attacking midfielder. Whose worth 30mil in that position then ?
