  1. There will be less fans at Fratton than in that photo to abuse him, I doubt he's worried...
  2. They're hungry, which is very important/totally irrelevant.
  3. Lesser of two evils, Holloway or Poyet. Not sure. Anyway, Palace will go down should they beat Watford.
  4. I have not seen either play, but being on SaintsWeb, I have to act the expert. I am confident they are both f*cking amazing/sh*te and I am delighted/devastated to be linked with such a great/terrible calibre of player. I am certain that unlike/like Gaston, they will both prosper/fail with us. There. That ought to cover it.
  5. Our entire team needs strengthening, but what's the priority? I would have to say defence. Based upon that, I would maintain that our defence isn't good enough.
  6. Sunderland, Villa and Palace. Palace, six easy points and a nice away day for me, and then anyone but Wigan. Thoroughly bored of them.
  7. A good one of my massive house and your little shed.
  8. I should clarify, I don't think our style of play is a bad thing that has to change, and I'm not ruling out us doing better.
  9. I predict a struggle, similar to this season. If we're persisting with this style of football, then it's by no means a good thing. Some teams have found our style easy to play against - QPR, even at their shambolic worst, were able to beat us. I wouldn't call it 'second season syndrome' but teams have had six months to see us play and get used to what we do. Unless we invest a lot of money, I think we're going to be at risk. Sorry to p*ss on your bonfire and all that...
  10. Pivotal day today. Pivotal weekend even, Wigan get the boost they need and City are going to sack Mancini.
  11. Welbeck wouldn't play for United unless he was a good player. I don't personally get what's so good about him, but you don't play for them unless you're a good player. If he was as bad as people make out, he'd be on the scrapheap with the likes of Bebé and co. A bit of maturity would do Sturridge the world of good. Maybe he'll find it at Liverpool. Overall though I'm not bothered at all if Lambert gets an England cap. It'd be nice for him, true, other than that why care so much about it?
  12. Would have preferred a City win. Thoroughly bored of Wigan and their bloody story.
  13. A point completely overlooked by 99% of football fans. All we hear is about his leg breaking, the way he carries on it's a shame it wasn't his bloody neck.
  14. Something that I think that has been overlooked is the fact that he has seen absolutely everybody off. Liverpool, never had a sniff in the Premier League era, apart from a second place finish a few years ago. Blackburn, just one title. Newcastle, didn't win anything in the end. Arsenal, a short period of dominance, back to United. Chelsea, with all their riches, United came back again. City, one title, they're already getting rid of Mancini because he's put them back in their place. That's a fantastic achievement.
  15. On the night Wigan are confirmed a Europa League place, they have effectively been dealt the biggest blow possible. Oops.
  16. Yeeeeaaaa!
  17. Two headed goals from Monk in stoppage time, 1 - 2 FT would be nice...!
  18. What an absolute c*nt. Is he that stupid and can't tell the difference, or does know the difference and just acts like a complete moron?
  19. BREAKING NEWS: Gosport Borough and Portsmouth are separated by just one division, after the former won their play-off final on penalties.
  20. pn_neil_allen 7:26pm via Tweetbot for iOS The return of Newport County to the FL. Managed by ex-#Pompey player Justin Edinburgh and squad includes Southsea lad Jake Thomson. Straws. Clutching at. He neglects to mention that its ex-Southampton player Jake Thomson too.
  21. Skates have tweeted to congratulate Newport and say they look forward to welcoming them to Fratton next season. Newport said to be considering their newly established Football League position.
  22. As some others have said I've got Norwich going down, but given our record against the sides around us I think it's going to be a quite uncomfortable finish.
  23. To be fair, he's long since retired. #MLGmoment
  24. This is a tad pathetic.
  25. Not safe, is the one thing I would say after that. Not by a long shot.
