It's funny, as everyone says this every year, but it rarely happens even with the big clubs. I'm sure all Chairman and managers would prefer this option, but as I understand its basically a chain (bit like selling a house). We will only sell you this player if we can buy that player. What we need is a first time buyer!

I would like to see a huge banner at St,Mary's from the fans in the Northam that reads "We are all in the building" and another in the Chapel that says "Its as simple as that". Perhaps the Kingsland can have one that says "Its about winning games of football" and the Corporates in the Itchen can have one that says "We (didn't) come on the bus!"

Bloody Hell the game is on the 29th Jan...........when I'm due to be in the UK to watch us play Charlton..........so now, no chance of a normal ticket meaning I'll need to fork out 150quid each for me and the missus to watch from corporate.

It annoys me a bit that all the reports I read, focused on Blackpool only putting out 2nd string players and question if this was an "upset" They made 9 changes, we made 8 from the last league games and not one report gives us credit for what essentially was a squad v squad game.

Was sat in the corporates last time for this one, when Rooney came on some Johnson stood up and started applauding, which upset 2 saints fans a few rows back. (I'm going to punch him in the ear etc.) The stewards had to come in and I think they chucked the man u fan out. Getting ejected from the corporate enclosure - classic.

I would still like us to sign a Fonte class CB. Dont think its needed for us to win the league, but will be in the NPC and if one is available now, we should go for it.

This is a shame, although I knew he was not coming back. For me in this window I think we only need to add 1 high class CB and a pacy winger/forward (which Waigo is)

27 shots too, which is pretty good. Fully agree though, need to follow this up with some decent away victories. If we start performing away from home, I'll be getting more confident. Alps is right though in the last few years (in fact for as long as I can remember), Saints have a habit of building your hopes up just to turn in some unbelievable dross when you think we are nailed on to win. This year though, maybe, just maybe we will be as good as we think we are.

Quickly reviewing the HCDAJFU and other threads on this site, it's quickly apparent that in the new Saints era, the days of the ITK poster are over. St. Mary's is sealed up tighter than a knats chuff. I love this to be honest as it seems far more professional, however it’s made this place a lot duller. In the past if you came on here and read a rumour, there was usually half a chance it could be true and in honour of that and whilst we wait (boring!) to hear official announcements on the saintsfc website, what was your favourite ever true or BS rumour seen on here. For me it had to be Paul Allen's yacht seen offshore ............ brilliant

Actually I reckon it was 3 goals, as there was that one he scored that went in the net, hit the advertising signs, bounced out and the ref never gave it. Seriously how was that ever possible, it was 2 metres over the line!

I actually think it's worth noting that both dune and hypo have been fairly positive about NC today. Typically I suspect most of us have just dismissed previous comments as being purely agenda anti NC verbal. Fair play however gents I'll tend to take your comments in future as genuine concerns as opposed to just knee jerk positions. Currently we are in danger of having some form of collective positive agreement about our club based on today's events.

I voted seats as probably thats where I would go, but I would love to see a standing area back at one end of the ground as it should help hugely with atmosphere. The entire Chapel perhaps could be converted and I'm sure many of the existing season ticket holders would move there just to stand.

See if you can get him to comment on who he believes are trying to destabilise the club behind the scenes. I'm sure he won’t say, but if you ask him why he thinks they are trying to do it, he might say something and we can fill in the blanks (probably erroneously, but it will be fun trying).

I actually thought the forum has been much better recently. Much more football related discussion and less pro/anti Cortese rantings. It is a shame LB has gone however, as he clearly did have some inside info. I don't blame the mods though as I'm sure they only acted because they really needed to.

Davis Frazier Fonte Seabourne Dickson Lallana Hammond Gobern Holmes Guly Lambert Is what I think he may go for. If Seabourne is still injured then Martin. OxC & Connelly to come on after about 60mins for Lallana & Lambert if we are 2 clear by then. Think that it is a fairly decent team and will be good if we get to see Oscar. I would like NA to give Bart a run, but I dont think he will.

I might be wrong, but I remember Marian Pahars having a big impact the first time he started. At the time as I recall we were in big trouble and then we saw this little guy who could suddenly finish and terrify the opposition. Anyone remember who he made his first team debut against?

I honestly did not see it that way. I need to watch it again, but I thought NA stated Puncheon, did not ask to leave, but took the opportunity to do so when it was offered. I think NA seemed to imply that JP was not happy and that's why they gave him the option which he was happy to take.

I don't think so. Watching the entire interview on Saints Player, NA heavily hinted that we would be bringing players in.

Zindane was the best I ever saw live. I watched an International match France v Belgium and they were terrified of him, no one could get close and he promptly tore them a new one. I never saw one player dominating both his own team and the opposition like that.

I still marvel at how lucky we got with Markus, when you consider all the jokers there have already been and could be out there. How ever did a quiet, decent, understated billionare come to love the Saints so much. Could you imagine Markus ever deciding to build a house like this? RIP big fella, we'll miss you for a long time.

Currently 65% want Morgan in some form (if you see what I mean!) - so he hopefully will get the nod As most people state though its a pretty good problem to have, as now we have 3 CM who are decent.
