  1. I'll be there! They're gonna roast!
  2. Well said! Don't get me wrong, I like Harding. Determined, tenacious, busy & hard working little player & he's been a great acquisition. However, he does have a proclivity for hoofing it under pressure & can barely take a throw without it being a foul throw but fortunately League One linesmen are far too useless or weak to act. Never the less, Harding's been superb and I trust Pardew implicitly with his scouting network & transfer dealings.
  3. I was for the sash idea but think this home shirt looks cr*p! However, if genuine, the away kits rocks. Don't buy football shirts anymore cos never wear them but I'd buy the away shirt.
  4. 1.) Replace the faulty digital screens with the much better, high definition screens as used at the better live gigs (Oasis & Kasabian used them on their last tour). Vivid colours & a much better picture. 2.) It's a knock out style events for people in mascot costumes at half time, for the kids...& adults. 3.) More shelf space & better decor in the concourse. The pictures are crap! Employ a new photographer!! 4.) Stock take! How many times have the club run out of pies/food...?? It's pathetic! Southend game they ran out of Yorkies, Crisps, Kit Kats, Hot chocolate, Pies...end of season so no stock? You may think but certain ready sealed/long life foods should always be in stock & It's only p*ss poor management unable to balance predictable supply & demand. Annoys me when any football clubs can't maintain basic stock levels. They're throwing away loads of money through incompetent catering. Simply not good enough when it's so simple. Astonishes me it's happens so regularly which must lose the club a good few grand/match. 5.) Sack the DJ & play less bandwagon/stadium music & be inventive. Vary the selection & don't all have thrashy/noisy music which basically drowns out conversation...in some areas a blessing! 6.) Employ staff with a sense of urgency. It can't be a fun job but with such high demand serving times, anything quicker than snail's pace would be a bonus! 7.) Bring back shots in the corporate boxes! Tight arses!! I was finally going to ask to have toilets regularly maintained as it bugs me post match that the club are too tight to refill the paper towels (Esp. without hand dryers...maybe install some dryers) but this seems to have been addressed.
  5. Gecko's crest is far superior. I'd much prefer we went with that. The red, gold & black uniformity looks much better & suited as a 125 year commemorative badge.
  6. How many times have they hit the woodwork? 5 times! That ball was over the line. Perfecy legal goal, as Spurs goal was for the non contact decision against James in the semi. Wembley luck? Who did they give a brown bag to? Hope they checked...it was only filled with Monopoly money!!
  7. I hope Papa & Antonio come back. Both have had a huge influence & have changed & won us many a game. Special mention to Perry who was awesome on many occassions over the past seasons, mainly before Pardew arrived, when he played more. He's been a valuable player & still cut it at a ripe football age. I wish him well.
  8. Why do people on this forum persist with the most unfunny joke about Skacel signing? Over and over, and over....again! It wasn't funny first time. Maybe your comedy heroes were Bobby Davro & Gary Wilmot. If so, I apologise!
  9. Good logic! Blame the Tories who have barely graced Downing Street yet not the socialist idiots that have overspent & ruined our country over the last 13 years!! Go to Germany then! (although I've a feeling you'd probably upset the locals with your knee jerk reactions you don't think through!)
  10. Couldn't really ask for more so I won't say anymore other than it's nice to finally have serious, ambititious professionals in charge. Side stepping the idol gossip too...sweet!
  11. Haha. Very good. Corden's class! Natural presenter. He runs the show superbly & gets the best out of sports stars. Let's be fair, some sportsmen are obviously talented but not always oozing on screen charisma!! (no comment on the old Frank Lampard Tesco ad!) It'll be interesting to see how Mr Corden is with our Matt!
  12. ...(that have Sky TV) He's on A League Of Their Own with James Corden this Thursday @ 21:00, Sky1(HD if you have it). Sorry if it's been mentioned but I hadn't time to check all areas of the site. Great programme! Mods, you can move this to the lounge if you wish but anything Le Tiss orientated is Saints related to me!
  13. Agreed. The hunger was there but his body was failing, namely groin & hamstring from what I remember. I'd not bother arguing. Futile with some on here & wasted energy.
  14. He was injured a lot but was not sh*t! Agreed, he didn't the best of runs with us cos of injury but was not sh*te, as you suggest. Still, if you wanna sit behind your screen & pick fights you can do so with your reflection. I'm not listing games, I struggle to remember who we played last week, but you obviously remember Bristol when he certainly wasn't the worst on the pitch so odd analogy singling out a player when the entire team were gash. You're wrong but it wouldn't be the first time. You see what you wanna see. Back on topic, Brighton must be mighty peed off but nice to see Saints getting first pickings! Makes a rare change.
  15. Still wasn't a crap player but join the forum bandwagon if you must!
  16. Yeah, cos Idiakez was reall crap wasn't he?! Idiot!!
  17. He caned Lambert for ages about his pregnant belly & love for pastry! Lol It'll be good to shift out the dead wood despite Pardew not envying the job. Regardless of industry, if you're not up to scratch, you move on.
  18. Misunderstood. Thought you literally meant con man committing fraud...in which case, that useless lump Van Gobbel was the one with legal wranglings & car scam. I'll get m' duffle coat! ;0)
  19. He's obviously a complete c*ck then but not the fraudster people purported. What goes around...
  20. I once got a series of Jelle's Sky tv bills to my house in Portswood...which was bizarre as he lived in South Western House! Dull but true! People are getting him confused with con man/fraudster Ulrich Van Gobbel. The pacey Dutch defender with the most inaccurate shot in football! He was done for some car scam, bought cars on credit & sold em before they'd been paid for or something along those lines. Remember it in the Echo. Thought there was also some scam with hire cars but could be wrong.
  21. Huh?! What is it with Waigo & his detractors?! Some love him, for many he can't do right. Whilst I'm a firm fan of both (loved Antonio's bit of twisting trickery down the left flank between 2 or 3 Carlisle players). I hate it when short sighted fans watch certain players with blinkers. Not saying you were particularly critical Nexstar & not wishing to over-react, but I had to endure 90 mins of stupid fan syndrome & wouldn't mind a small rant. We had 2 new idiots sat behind us in Chapel absolutely slaughtering Waigo from start to finish (as well as constantly swearing & shouting "c*nt" infront of kids sat around them - no need). Kept berating him, jeering him to f*ck off back to Fiorentina, consantly peddling the offside mantra despite me not noticing any offsides given against him in this particular game. Complete brainless weapons, the pair of em. They even discussed signing Antonio rather than Papa cos he had pace...& what does Papa do, moonwalk? One cross was poor & the keeper caught it & that had them frothing at the mouth. Antonio was my MOTM but he often makes mistakes but they he couldn't do wrong to them. Were they aware we wouldn't have the JPT if it not for Waigo. Countless assists. Vital goals & (like Antonio) match changing substitution appearances. Luckily, beer was more important than football & they missed the 1st goal (& assist by Papa via a clipped defensive header). Come 2nd half, they were back at it, shouting sub him (not in such polite terms) & throwing a paddy at every touch...although mute on every completed pass (& his through balls are generally pin point). I didn't think he had a bad game. A few mistakes & free kicks given away (made me laugh, weakest player on the pitch penalised for being over physical yet Lambert, the strongest, is literally laddered & man handled every game & the ref gives nothing...bar this game, first time in ages) but he's no Paul Wotton. Papa made the first goal & nice to see him play the entire match. Anyway, commented to my mate "yeah, sub him! Don't want him setting up anymore goals". What bugged me most, he knocked a few decent passes through & they went all quiet. Any mistouch, THEY'RE OFF! Annoying to hear. Antonio had a much better game, I admit. Both good talents. Both genuinely pacey (I'd say Papa being quicker). Both great determination/good on & off field attitude. Both fairly raw talent which has visibly improved over the season. Both I'd like to keep. I think they'll both be great assets next season. Rant over. Sorry, had to say my bit. I think the level of Papa Waigo's criticism is unfair by some & vastly OTT. He does seem to split opinion.
  22. Looks like my promotion bet all but gone. Hope Lambert doesn't get pipped at the post either. Another hatrick would seal it! Hope he can get 30 straight goals in the league. Very odd they're giving odds already although I was chuffed to discover my £10 of small bets on Oldham refunded cos of a bore draw offer from the website I use. That's a great deal!! Could have won up to £125, but returned money if no goals. Nice! Would have preferred to have lost my money & beat Oldham mind!
  23. Blaming one of the most terrible refs ever to be set foot on a football pitch is not pathetic. Whilst you seem to relish negativity & seem happiest moaning, commenting on stats without actually watching the match puts your argument on a weak footing. It was a poor match, Oldham got all their men behind the ball & had an extremely negativie game plan. Not helped by continual time wasting, persistent fouling & officials that ignored blatant corners/fouls/handballs & really had a questionable agenda. Then towards the end they started giving Saints free kicks for challenges that weren't even fouls. Bizarre refereeing at it's worst. Oh, and Oldham scrambled about 4/5 shots off the line (from Fonte, Hammond, etc.) I find you utterly bizarre for you to be arguing opinions on a match you didn't watch. The word "baseless" springs to mind. The ref was feckin' diabolical & 2 penalties (at least) would have secured the win & 3 points which we at least deserved 2nd half.
  24. I hope you're being sarky. Seabourne was poor today & looks shakey along with Otsemebor. I thought Seabourne could improve after 1 or 2 better games & learning from Fonte & Jaidi can all but help but I'm starting to really think he's not very good. He doesn't read the game well, he lacks composure with questionable distribution & his positioning can often be poor & he seems to panic while in possession. I'd hope for drastic improvements if he were to start in the squad regularly next season. Fonte, pure class. I'm a big fan & we'd been much, much less of a team without a rock like Fonte shoring up out defence. He reads the game superbly & makes it look easy, with his sudden changes of direction, dummies & thumping 40 yard accurate passes through to players getting forward.
  25. Neither would I but did you ever see Elliot Ward's debut for Doncaster?!
