  1. Totally agree. It's soul destroying seeing half the team sold off two seasons on the trot. That said, we've improved on our league position year on year. That can only be down to one thing... Koeman. I can't help but feel that letting him go at this stage would be a major blow and the club should be doing everything in their power to keep him and install some stability. However, loyalty doesn't seem to be a word that features in the game these days.
  2. I don't think next season is in doubt. Will he sign a contract extension? Probably not. He'll honour his current contract and then he'll be off. I don't think he's ever stayed anywhere for longer than a couple of years. My money's still on him going to Arsenal.
  3. Just a thought... Surely the players who've just signed long term deals would want some reassurances as to whether the manager is staying put? Personally, I wouldn't put pen to paper on a 6 year contract if I enjoyed working for my current boss and there was a chance he was going to leave in a matter of weeks.
  4. Not sure about his attitude at all. Funny how he only really performs when it's nearing the transfer window and he wants to get himself noticed.
  5. Player of the season for me.
  6. Interesting piece on Sky that works out where everybody will finish if they repeat the results against the teams that they're left to play. We only took 4 points from the teams who we still have to play. If we repeat this then we'll make the biggest slide in the league, finishing below Bournemouth and 3 places above the drop on 45 points. Leicester will win the league with 3 games to go. Spurs will slip to 4th. Arsenal and Man City will finish 2nd and 3rd with WHU pipping Man Ure to 5th. Bottom 3 is Villa, Sunderland and Norwich.
  7. Totally agree. We've gone back to exactly how we were before Forster made his comeback. We lack any kind of creative flair.
  8. Totally agree. Sunderland will be right up for it on Saturday. We won't! We don't look like creating anything at the moment. I'd stick Targett or Tadic in to try and change that.
  9. Said we'd lose tonight but it doesn't make it any easier.
  10. Sadly, I can see us losing this one.
  11. That's cool. It would be nice if there was an official number, just for the record. The fewer the better.
  12. Getting mixed reports on this. People are saying that only 80 were made but I was told by someone at Saints that 200 were made. Is there an official line on this?
  13. Bought the last one from the foundation earlier today. :-)
  14. Yellow 3rd strip worn at Newcastle in the 14/15 season.
  15. I often bet against us. If we win it's cost me a tenner. If we lose I've got the financial gain to help soften the blow.
  16. On your own??? No you weren't! I said exactly the same thing and got lambasted. Just for the record, I totally agree with what you're saying. :-)
  17. He does when it suits him. I heard him talking to Jamie Theakston (A Brighton Fan) and he asked Craig David who he supported. CD replied, 'Chelsea'!
  18. The curse of Caulker. Relegated with Cardiff. Then QPR. Saints next???
  19. At the start of the season I said he'd be off at the end of the season. He never stays anywhere long & was never going to be able to repeat the success of last season.
  20. I read we were interested in Grey from Brum but it looks like he's off to Leicester. Can't blame the lad. Got to be worth a punt for £3.75m.
  21. Already worried. Prediction going as planned. I said RK would struggle this season and will leave at the end of the season after narrowly avoiding relegation. Although the way things are I think we'll go down. Teams like Norwich and Bournemouth seem to be able to pick up points when the pressure is on. We just crumble.
  22. ****e! As soon as they equalised and RK made those changes it was only ever going to end one way.
  23. Not really. I was just being realistic, whilst others were getting all giddy and predicting a top 4 finish. We're just an average side who could finish anywhere between 7th and 17th. We could finish 18th, 19th or 20th based on current form, but I don't want to think about that.
  24. I was ridiculed pre-season for saying that the likes of Palace and Stoke and Leicester had all strengthened well and that I didn't feel that we were any better than them.
  25. I'm pretty sure Saints were league Champions by Christmas that year. Well, Back To The Future was a work of fiction so I think it's ok for Saints league position to be included in that work of fiction.
