Had a great time in Sweden in 2004. I'd be more than happy to go back there.

I live in Chester so it's a 500 mile round trip for a home game. The ever rising price of fuel doesn't help when added to the price of a ticket and spends for the day. I also work most Saturday's, so that makes things difficult.

Danny Wilson is a great manager and one of football's nicest characters. The league doesn't lie. Swindon have been well organised all season and Wilson has done a superb job, proving that you don't have to spend millions to produce an effective 'team'. Anyone who thinks we will walk this league next season could be in for a shock. Just because we have a big budget, it doesn't mean we are going to run away with the league. There will be other teams like us who will strengthen by spending and like Swindon, there will be one of two other suprise outfits who are well organised and have a great team ethic, which will prove to be worth its weight in gold.

I'll be more concerned if Jamie Scowcroft starts for them. He always scores against us.

I'd go for the following... Holmes Murty Spiderman Wotton Perry And maybe... Connolly Antonio Papa Waigo Jaidi Pardew?

I said that when we were 1-0 down and we equalised. Thought I'd try it again as a last ditch attempt and it worked again -

Said we's lose this one on Sunday. Don't understand Pardew's team selection at all. Hope I'm proved wrong. -
Late Kick Off - BBC South 29/03/10

********. Completely forgot about the show being regional. I could have tuned in on Sky 984. -
At the services on the M40 we were chatting to a Carlisle fan who was asking where was a good place to leave the car and get the train to Wembley. At this point a guy approached us and said 'Good luck for today'. I assumed he was a Carlisle fan... Then came the bombshell... 'I'm a Pompey fan, but I like to see you doing well'. Never been so stunned. If it was the other way round I'd never dream of approaching 3 Pompey fans at a service station and admitting I was a Saints fan.

I was waiting for him to say 'Jesus Saves' just so that I could shout 'But Lambert scores from the rebound'. Sadly it never happened & I certainly had no intention of hanging around for too long.

Were you in the club Wembley seats in block 250? Your description sounds like a couple of the lads I went with. One of whom fell asleep in the second half and was only woken by the surrounding fans shouting 'wake up sleepy head'. He opened one eye and said 'I had a funny feeling that I might have been asleep'.

Still doesn't change the fact that I heard him say he was a Chelsea fan. Theakston said 'I thought you were from Southampton' to which CD replied 'Yeah, that's my home town, but I follow Chelsea'. Obviously a glory seeking ****!
-
He is. A few years ago I went to see 'A Question Of Pop' being filmed at the BBC in Manchester. Craig David was a guest on one of the teams. During a filming break he was chatting to Jamie Theakston about football. Theakston said he was a Brighton fan. Craig David said 'I support Chelsea'. So he's only a Saints fan when there's publicity involved. ****!

So you're the one with the pictures of next seasons home kit. Nice to see they've kept their word about there being no sponsor.

I've just bought a Seat Ibiza Sport. 1.6 VW Diesel engine (The same one they use in the Golf). It has the same chassis as the Polo and forthcoming new Skoda Fabia & Audi A1. It was £5k less than a VW Polo and has better performance. Sorry, but I don't understand why anybody would buy a VW when you can buy an almost identical car for much less. Add in the fact that every VW dealer I've ever visited has looked down their nose at me and treated me like a piece of **** and it isn't hard to see why I spent my money elsewhere. The press would have you believe that the Polo and Fiesta are the pick of the small car market. Ok, the Fiesta was alright to drive, but no better than the Seat. It's a Ford, totally overpriced and the dealers are ****e. The roads are full of them so residual values will also be poor.

I'm going for 2-1 to Carlisle, as predicted on the front of the Programme. £20 at 11/1 should easilly cover the price of admission, travelling expenses and spends for the day.
-
Gonna have few quid on a Carlisle win. If Saints win I won't be arsed about losing the money on a bet and if Carlisle win it'll cover my expenses for the day. My view is that you may as well have something good out of a defeat.

We're gonna get beat -
Just buy the Boxster. Great value for money and not too expensive to run. In a different league to all the other stuff you've mentioned. Avoid the VW things. Totally overpriced. Your probably know that already having owned a Seat. I don't understand why people fork out all that extra cash for a VW when you can get an equivalent Seat for much less, and it's the same car underneath. Badge snobbery has a lot to answer for!

There's 4 of us going. That ticket wallet explains where all the money's gone. I'm wearing my shirt despite what the tickets say. If you see a topless bloke in row 4 then that'll probably be me after the stewards have removed my shirt. -

Block 250. Row 4. Club Wembley seats. Tickets say 'No Club Shirts'. They can **** right off!
