  1. There is shame in preferring relegation over appointing Hughes like mulletsaint, or the other posters who backed sacking pellegrino but were grumbling at the thought of Hughes in March in the dire situation we were in. Hughes was obviously the best choice available at the time we appointed him and I'm incredibly glad that he has almost certainly kept us up and made a few people look incredibly silly in the process.
  2. Really makes a bit of a mockery of those few people on here wailing because we appointed him and then entirely unable to name some better alternatives. I bet oldnick is still bummed out that kelvin didn't get the job.
  3. I always said it was mainly the abysmal managers that have been the problem.
  4. I'm absolutely drained. Sign Hughes up please and then sack those c*nts in the boardroom.
  5. I can't deal with this.
  6. What would your preference be out of interest? Personally I'd have like to see Labour have an incredibly poor result which may have made them reconsider the path they have been going down and maybe transform themselves into a party worth voting for again.
  7. Saganowski
  8. Yep that was undoubtedly the biggest. United great atmosphere though
  9. Oh absolutely. The EU couldn't care less. 100%.
  10. Or that it wasn't just the Osborne's prediction but the predictions of loads of people...
  11. Osborne predicted doomsday immediately after the leave vote, not after we had left.
  12. There weren't any substantial concessions which was the entire point. Cameron watered down what he was going to ask for and the EU came back with absolutely nothing. Most of the EU states now admit that they need reform but none of them can agree on anything substantial which just highlights its whole problem.
  13. Yeah pretty much this. The third reason you state was the clincher for me and the contempt that Cameron was held in solidified my vote.
  14. Programmes are fast being replaced by ten minute videos of 'men' gurning into a camera for ten minutes. You can't stop progress.
  15. World class.
  16. I think I saw sue harping on earlier in the thread but you'd have to use the definition of 'woman' very loosely. P.S. Does your partner still post on here? I thought she banned you?
  17. You have my sympathy. I hope you can find something that makes you happy.
  18. Yep. We've been awful regardless of who we play. Personally I'd give forster another try to see if he could do anything next year.
  19. I'm not sure why you're under the misapprehension that I've defended this guy.
  20. Yes but that doesn't really work when you widen the intolerance net to encompass everyone to the right of corbyn.
  21. Stop your lying soggy. You've got form.
  22. I can look after myself thanks but I expect whelk is just highlighting the famed lefty values of tolerance and care that are on display.
  23. At the risk of going over old ground again, condemning violence will mean violence coming from both the far left and the far right. Being critical of those who feel it is fine to go and punch Richard Spencer in the face doesn't mean you have to support Richard Spencer in any way or anything he stands for. I don't support people who use violent means to try to achieve their aims in almost every case short of something like self defense. The political affiliations of those involved in the violence is largely immaterial.
  24. I'm pretty sure the bloke had some severe mental problems. That combined with an evil ideology is a recipe for disaster as we have seen countless times recently.
