  1. And totally incorrect as Plymouth, Exeter and Torquay are all on the South Coast and the last time I looked they were not above us. Obsession....
  2. The only Obsession we have is aftershave whereas they both seem obsessed with us.
  3. What a load of bo££ocks. The plan was not derailed last season! The 'plan' was to get out of League 1 this season, if we had done it last season then that would have been a bonus and a tremendous effort was made to get so close given the -10 points we had. If we don't get promotion this season then the plan could be de-railed and only then.
  4. Truely are revolting. Following the end of the court case with HMRC last summer and despite describing himself as a reluctant owner, Balram Chainrai once again took ownership of Portsmouth Football Club. Mr. Chainrai and business partner Levi Kushnir have constantly repeated their mantra of only protecting their investment, yet they must realise that they have a duty of care to the club and supporters. A lack of investment and the sale of players have left manager Steve Cotterill with a threadbare squad heading into a crucial part of the season, and an uphill battle to stay in the Championship. David Lampitt approached SOS Pompey in an attempt at appeasement following the announcement of our intended protest prior to the match against Leeds United. In the spirit of togetherness we decided to postpone that protest and sit down and talk. It is now very clear that those talks were merely lip service, and we call upon him to resign with immediate effect. SOS Pompey call upon all supporters to voice their concern about the direction that our club is taking. It is now clear that the owners are content to allow our club to drift rudderless without investment or care. We ask you to fully support the manager and team who need us now more than ever, but we must leave the owners in no doubt we hold them in the same contempt that they hold us. We ask you to join us in a noisy yet otherwise peaceful demonstration of our anger. Bring your Pompey colours, banners and above all your voices to the gates of Fratton Park in Frogmore Road 2pm prior to this Saturday’s game. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT FOOTBALL, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT FANS, PORTSMOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB IS IN THE WRONG HANDS!
  5. @SkySportsbucko: S****horpe United forward Jonathan Forte is in talks to rejoin his former manager Nigel Adkins at Southampton.
  6. Refuse to give any time or money to those over paid prima donnas following the pathetic, petulant and arrogant display by Rooney et al in the summer.

    The ref

Ref was poor but not the worst we have had. Game hinged on Guly's lack of composure in the first half when a square ball would have given AC a tap in, then Jaidi putting a free header over from 6 yds. If either of those had been taken we would have won comfortably I think. Similarly if the ref had booked Harley when he clattered AC early on he would have been off before Half time when he clattered him again right in front of the linesman who bizzarely did not give anything but the ref who was 30 yds away did!!! They also missed a clear hand ball by Fonte right on the edge of the area in the second half. One of those days I am afraid, once again Puncheon flattered to decieve with numerous miss placed simple passes, running down blind alleys and snatching at a glorious chance that I am sure he would have buried last month when on loan at Millwall.
  8. Either of their CB's would be a reasonable signing. Doubt Jaidi would play much next season so to have 4 decent CB's in Fonte, Martin, Seabourne + an other will be a good starting point for the new season.
  9. It was his brother Ker Ching he was after I thought.
  10. Taken from a Pompey message board. Makes interesting reading. 12 Jan 2011 17:08:06 Portsmouth defender Ricardo Rocha will sign for QPR before the end of January - personal terms being discussed. 12 Jan 2011 12:12:40 Richard Hughes is going back to Bournemouth, best mates with Eddie Howe and has been told he's got no chance of playing for Pompey again. Either a free transfer or nominal fee. Expect any money Pompey recieve to be sucked straight into funding the first CVA payment, which as it stands, Pompey don't have enough for. For this reason, expect Brown (linked with Wolves) and at least one more to leave Fratton Park. It won't be Lawrence - footballing rules dictate a player cannot move twice in one transfer window, and he signed the permanent deal on the opening day of this window, making him ineligable to move again this month. It's looking likely to be Nugent, with a host of clubs looking to get his signature. Cotterill's handed chief exec David Lampitt a list with three permanent players he desperately wants, and two loans, one thought to be an extention to Halford's loan. Lampitt has apparently told Cotts he's not got a hope in hell with two of the three permanents, and is unsure whether or not they can get hold of the second loan signing. {ed's note - didn't Lawrence move on loan first? If so his arrival date could be set on that, rather than the date he signed permanently. Though it depends on the loan contract, if a loan with a view to perm then it will be the original loan date that matter. Mind if he signed on a perm only when the window opens then it is unlikely to be a loan with a view to perm, those on that kind of contract can complete a perm move at any time, even outside the windows.}
  11. Should do what Sunderland did, albeit for a league game, and restrict the amount of ticktets to them because of the to$$er who lit the flare last time. Give more tickets to Saints fans.
  12. Would have prefered it to be away but never mind. Bound to be a TV game, they play PL games against Blackpool and Vile before and after so could be resting some players. Whatever we will give them a game this time unlike last time. Just have to put up with the plastic mancs for a day singing 'you've only come to see Utd', fecking to££ers
  13. Apparently it is OK. The wage cap of £10k that was announced is only an average wage meaning they can pay Lawrence and Kitson circa £20k and others one hell of a lot less - must lead to a happy dressing room.
  14. Beat rendition of 'Scummers lost at home, Super Saints have won away' was on the tube following a Saints 4-0 win at QPR. Pure quality.......
  15. You remember the game then? All that beer might have clouded the mind!!
  16. He has played in the Championship and is currently playing in the Championship so you are wrong there. Just because some myopic boo boys think he is sh*t does not make him a bad player as is bourne out by the fact that 4 clubs, one of whom is a PL club, have already expressed an interest in him.
  17. You answered your own question at the end. There is no reason why we cannot negotiate a decent fee for him. We do not need to sell, he has over 2 years left on his contract. IF a PL team wants him then pay a market rate. Other players have gone to PL clubs from NPC teams for £3m+, why should we roll over and let him go for relative peanuts.
  18. If we can get £1.5 - £2m for him as he has over 2 years left on his contract then all well and good. Means there is more to spend on a replacement who wants to play for the club.
  19. Nice to see that they can afford to fly the whole squad straight from Norwich on Saturday to Dublin for a Christmas party!!! Sure the schools and charities they stole from are happy for them.
  20. One clubs gain is another clubs loss..................
  21. FIFA have been exposed as a corrupt organisation now on several occasions, last nights programme was just the latest in a long saga of TV programmes and books, and nothing has been done. England does not need the World Cup, FIFA need the World Cup in England to generate the most income. Let it go to Russia and have poor attendences and make a fraction of what it would do in this country.
  22. Shame they could not have put a poppy on the shirt this weekend and auctioned them off for Service charities!
  23. Would expect a bigger crowd at the Brighton game, more of a draw than Bournemouth and they are top of the league playing reasonable football.
  24. As a ST holder object to paying £15 to watch a 4th division side, if ticket prices had been cheaper then might have made the effort to go. Chose to watch England v All Blacks on the telly instead.
  25. Think you are being harsh on Harding there. His mistake against Oldham was magnified because they scored but for the most part this season he has been solid. Goal on Saturday should never have stood because Davis was fouled, if he had not have been then he would have saved the header and I think you will find that Harding was on the post so not down to him about the slack marking. Agree with you about Puncheon though. Chamberlain should start tomorrow night in place of him.
