Why did the egg cross the road. ANS. Because he couldn't afford to drive on it.

Ref. Grammar/spelling. President Woodrow Wilson could barely read and write. Thomas Edisons own mother could barely understand His letters home, they were that poorly written. The two Dodge brothers who started the car/lorry company could neither read or write. Richard Branson is severly dyslexic. Don't allow poor Written word to influence your opinion of somebody.

I'm a bit confused. Corp Ho suggests something might be iffy over the Chanrai loan. We have seen on here the 'Charge' of Chanrai over the ground. I'm sure if there was anything wrong with it CSI or Lampitt would have challenged it before. But nothing. I know nothing about these things, but surely you can't register acharge against a proper without some sort of evidence.

Sorry it is my fault our form since Christmas has nose dived. Kids brought me a new shirt and I have worn it to all homestches since then. Mrs LS has banned me from wearing it today, and so I'm going back to wearing the successful sash that I wore last half of last season and first half of this. We will win today and be back on form. Dont worry normal service is restored.

Rocker me. However was at primary school in 60's so too young for a Dominator or Commando.

Thanks DVW, who said football wasn't educational, I have learnt about liquidation, fraud, cheating, HMRC, administration, and how people keep inbreeds in the dark just through thus thread alone. That doesn't include lessons on self delusion by the blue few.

A question for the more legally minded of you. I know that Gaydamak owns certain lands around Nottarf, however Chinnie just has a 'charge' over the stadium. Could someone please explain to me in words suitable for a simpleton like me what a 'charge' actually means in practice.

Little man???? Does he really want that made public????

You start wearing only beige, including shirt, trousers, shoes, and Zip-up polyester jumper.

It is in my house. Well it is when I have rounded them all up from the kids rooms.

If you have a sick animal, you have 3 options. 1. Do what you can to revive it. 2. Put it down. 3. Leave it alone and let nature take it's course. Agree totally that many ill-advised people with their own agendas are making noises about this particular dead animal. Politicians do however tend to say one thing to get votes, and in effect do nothing in practice. The Judge however you are right could be under all sorts of pressure to not put the animal down. The FL must at sometime issue a points reduction. Especially if they give an extra points deduction for multiple administrations, that will make the skates an even less attractive to a purchaser. They can then just do nothing and wait for nature and the courts to do their stuff. Problem is the skates seem to have more lives than a family of cats, and are slipprier than an eel in grease.

This is not directed specifically at the Skates, however their current particular situation fits the scenario. Increasingly of the last few years football in England in particular, and the world in general, has carried on in rather a strange existence. A few clubs are living with finances almost beyond imagination. Other clubs are struggling along tighteneing their belts and living within their means, paying their bills, hmrc, local businesses etc. A third group however are spending money they dont have on a reckless bid for glory. Some off these clubs are not just reckless but are turning a deliberate blind eye to the consequences of their actions. The FL/PL are not not as stupid as they usually appear to be, and I can see a situation arising when the FL want to make an example of a club to try a bring the rest to some sort of sense regarding their spending. The club they choose will not be a small club like Darlington, because they are too small to provide enough impact. It wont be a large club like WHU or a PL Club, so that leaves a mid-size Championship club. My conspiracy theory is Skates FC are the ideal club. They are a club who have been in the headlines recently both for their FA Cup win (however cheatingly obtained) and their history of total disregard for financial good-housekeeping, and perhaps Harry's tax evasion if proved. I forsee a situation where the FL/PL will not go out of their way to helping them survive by forwarding Parachute payments etc. And will be able to quote league rules and fair-play for not assisting them. I believe a club will be allowed to go out of existence as some sort of warning or 'wake up call' to other clubs. Currently Skates are the obvious candidate. Whether the FL/PL haved got the balls to do it is another matter.

Skates haven't taken 1500 away, since they last came to St.Marys

Wonder how many of the blue few will make it to Peterborough today.

Im 1% and dont know how I got the 1. Disgusted though one of the questions had a quote from Ayatollah Maggie Thathcer that was the closest least farthest from my view. I'll join the street party when she shoves off this mortal coil to reach her final judgement.

I am confused, this started as a thread on The Chairmans Dinner or similar. 3 pages ago it descended into a slanging match by 'The Usual Suspects'. Are these :- 1. The same person using a variety of names to be WUM, trolls etc. 2. Different WUM trolls 3. A group of people with narcistic tendencies. 4. Skates. 5. A mixture of above. I do know a person with more than 2 identities on here who have had an argument with themselves. How sad is that.

Must be auto response, because I have received identical reply.

I am confused as to whom owns what at PFC. I thought that Gaydamak owned a bit of land round FP including car park. Chanrai owned FPark as security against a loan of £10.8 mil. CSI owned club including assets such as players etc. FP I have been told is worth absolute max £4m (not taking into equasion of problems of Gaydamaks bits of land). If Chanrai owns FP and PFC is wound up he walks away seriously out of pocket, with just a bit of building land. If he doesn't own FP what security does he have. Some have suggested that Chamrai will pay HMRC to secure his asset for time being. But does that make any financial sense. (if anything at PFC makes any financial sense. Doesn't this all just boil down to who owns what and what they are willing to lose. Please could someone confirm who does own what please.

To put my views into some perspective:-I dont smoke, I do drink, I do take prescibed drugs for a couple of problems due to injuries over the years. I was a police officer for a number of years, been retired for over a decade. I totally agree that the 'war on drugs' has been a waste of time and effort. The money involved and the needs of many will not see the end of it. However there is no such thing as 'soft' drugs. We all have known or met people seriously affected by alcohol and/or gambling. I have seen many people, including friends and aquaintances affected by cannabis. Like all drugs the occassional Saturday night spliff, is one thing but the several times a day, 24/7 is totally different. You do not want to have to deal let alone live with someone suffering the paranoia, anger, mood swings etc. of someone like this. A close friends family member was like this, and their whole house lived in fear of them. The house didn't have an undamaged door. Their mother had a nervous breakdown because of them. Dont give me your rubbish about cannabis being harmless, that is absolute ******s. I agree that one drug use doesn't neccesarrily lead to another. Yes the 'war on drugs' is a joke. But just because it hasn't worked it doesn't mean you should legalise drugs. The conviction rate for rape is a bout 5%. Going on your logic we should legalise rape. Legalising drugs makes as much sense as legailsing rape.

"They ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee" Written by John Donne I believe. Donne and dusted soon, if HMRC can at last get it right.
