  1. The reason I personally still have some respect for Morgan is that he properly knuckled down and put in one of his best seasons for us in that last season. Contrast that with Lovren, who threatened to go on strike. Lallana was sold, and so never got the chance to redeem himself a bit, and we'll never know if he would have carried it out when he was rumoured to have said he was never going to play for Saints again, of if he'd have played half heartedly, or if he'd have put the same effort in that Morgan did.
  2. Le Tissier had the ambition to win trophies, but he wanted to do that with Southampton. Ultimately, he didn't succeed in that, he didn't even get close, but he stuck it out and gave everything for Saints. He had more ambition for his own club than most of the mercenaries that play today have in their little toe.
  3. Ahahahaha... Someone on their forum trying to claim that Liverpool's titles are really theirs because Liverpool came about from Everton moving out of Anfield... If that's the case, we get Brazil's World Cups.
  4. What a goal!
  5. Yeah, have to say, respect to the officials for that one. Was a difficult decision to get right there, and they did.
  6. And yet, they're still seen as beneath us now, inferior. That is how far and how fast they've fallen, and how much we've grown. That's what it feels like to fall back and be overtaken by other teams, has to be stinging
  7. Have to admit, Schniederlin's fall has surprised me. Thought he was going to be annoyingly good at United. As it turns out, they could end up finishing the season below us.
  8. I like how some Everton fans think we don't realise they have a billionaire owner, and that might be a reason Koeman would go there. Irony. Also, isn't the £100M warchest they keep going on about just the extra money from the TV deal this season?
  9. Koeman has ALWAYS honoured his contracts in the past, it wasn't in any question he'd be here next season, but I'm actually more hopeful he'll be here for longer than that now.
  10. That's genuinely quite funny from Everton fans there. Utterly delusional. If Koeman's manager of Everton at the start of next season, I'll make a £50 donation to charity, forum's choice.
  11. So, win on Sunday, and we finish above Liverpool for the very first time. The last team we need to tick off the list.
  12. If you're playing against a big club, and score, but someone was in an offside position, they were intefering and it's offside. If they score, but someone was in an offside position, he's not intefering and it stands as a goal.
  13. Liverpool winning the Europa League has no effect. We finish 5th or 6th we qualify. We finish 7th, we need Man Utd to finish 5th or 6th and win the FA Cup.
  14. Yeah, can't see them changing a result that's already happened. I can see West Ham having to play a game or two behind closed doors at the start of next season though.
  15. Ah, good point :-/
  16. Would be funny if United finished 8th
  17. Great goal there, gave the keeper the eyes that he was going to cross. Still shouldn't be getting beaten at his near post like that though.
  18. Never been so nervous needing Man Utd and Chelsea to get results!
  19. Yeah, it's a two year extension he's just signed!
  20. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?56473-Post-Match-Reaction-Spurs-1-2-SAINTS#.Vy9ModR4WrU
  21. This one feels good. Seriously good.
  22. How did he keep that out!?
  23. Only 5. Bit surprised considering there was a water break.
