    Liverpool FC

I'd love to be playing them in the league next season. I'd be at the away game.
  3. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/article/26763/ Potential transfer targets for Pompey?
  4. Rule of thumb I've heard is if they know the offside rule, they're old enough.
  5. Ah, that'd be because he hasn't done much with the bat recently. Opinion is... split... as to whether he should be the next captain, there was one poll that put 15% of respondants as wanting Clarke to come in as captain.
  6. Heh, if he was really a Utd. supporter, a Saints messageboard would be the last place he'd go. We were their bogey team after all... Who else has scored six past them in one match? Or forced them to change shirts at half time? They had a terrible record at The Dell, and we beat them in an FA Cup final. Not bad for a team so much smaller...
  7. They do have a good First XI, but they really don't have a good squad. (they can't even fill the subs bench after all...)
  8. http://www.calcionews24.com/cesena-spunta-kharja.html http://www.calcionews24.com/torino-idea-do-prado-piace-dalessandro.html Babelfish translation of relevant parts... For the first link: According to how much filler Romagna Courier, also the Cesena could find place between expecting for the Moroccan centrocampista of the Genoa Houssine Kharja. The former Siena, that it interests also to Naples, turns out, for the leadership inhabitant of Romagna, a objective more easy percorribile regarding the attempt to bring back to house the Brazilian Guilherme Do Prado, yielded in summer to the Southampton, whose difficulties in British earth come refutation from manager the Little ones: “Draft simply of a bureaucratic problem not hardly the wife will obtain the English citizenship, will arrive necessary documents also for Gives Prado. Therefore it will remain to the Southtempton, than less clamorous surprise”, law on TuttoCesena. For the second link: The IDEA I GIVE PRADO - Yesterday it has been approached an interest, in reality already rather dated, of the Taurus for I give Prado. The Brazilian supports happily in the Southampton, but he must resolve bureaucratic problems (in short to have the stay permission for the wife), various will change square. Col its manager s'è given time until 20 to January in order resolving the issue, sennò will return to the Cesena. The Taurus, however, does not think more to he from the slid summer: and however, be a matter itself of a trequartista, it cannot be I give to Prado the priority of Petrachi. Looks like we might want to keep him and he wants to stay, but residency for his wife might be a problem? If anyone can get a better translation that'd be great.
  9. Hehe.... I could easily ban him... he's obviously not read the terms and conditions that ask that supporters of other teams not post on the main board.... I'm pretty sure there's 18 points worth of pointless/sarcastic/insulting posts in there as well.... But do we really want to deny ourselves this entertainment?
  10. He was booed for no other reason than he's the Aussie Captain. It's become something of a tradition among the Barmy Army apparently. We rode our luck today with some of the decisions, but that was an awesome collective effort with the bat. We still can't let up the pressure, but as long as we don't you'd imagine we'd probably win from here, and at least get the draw.
  11. And I think that's enough of that.
  12. Haddin is next in, he's been promoted, hence I reckon we need one more wicket to skittle them.
  13. I'm disappointed in you lot! We all should be backing Saints!
  14. If we keep winning like this, we'll start putting pressure on the Brighton players and maybe affect their performances. First job over the next few games is to catch up with Brighton's goal difference. Even if they keep pace with our points that WILL make them take a glance down, and that could make all the difference.
  15. Looks like that 2nd spot is all our own tonight.
  16. Away matches at small grounds would tend to be the heaviest on the forum as they leave the most amount of fans at home trying to keep track of the game. (ie. on here) I'm sure steve and baj will have a look at what happened and sort something out.
  17. OK, re. the forum performance today, we moderators don't have anything to do with that side of it, St Chalet is just posting suggestions from a user's perspective of what might help. We will pass your concerns on the admins as they are the ones that can do something about it.
  18. Lol @ the idiot list on Solent Ooh, equaliser for Swindon, could be 2nd outright with a bit of luck by tonight...
  19. Reading between the lines of the Adkins interview, yes we do have substantial money to spend, but we don't want clubs to know how much we have because it'll push prices up. Looks like the league we're in is the limiting factor in terms of targets, not money, and we don't want people to know who our targets are, probably to stop fan/media speculation and other teams getting involved.
  20. Maybe so. Either way it means our attack is WORKING now.
  21. So I am Charlton will go and score 12 now... We have to get used to this now... winning and not much happening to the table... We're not in a relegation battle any more! Most pleasing thing about the last three games is that Guly finally seems to have gotten used to the English game.
  22. Oops! Didn't check down that far... this league is TIGHT!
  23. Pleased to get away from that with 3 points, sounds like Guly and Lambert are starting to form a real partnership.... Disappointing that Brighton dragged that result but it hasn't been a bad day for us elsewhere overall. Unless Charlton win this evening by 12 goals, tonight will be the first time this season that we've been 2nd without teams able to catch us with their games in hand.
  24. I can see this ending in a draw... Australia won't find it easier from here though, they're relying almost entirely on their next partnership.
