Good morning session for us, double ton for Cook, ton for Trott, records being broken left right and centre, decent run rate and Australia getting more and more demoralised
-
We might even have an outside chance of going for the win if we carry on scoring at this sort of rate... I didn't think I'd have any chance of writing anything like that two days ago, but here it is. I still think we should just make sure of the draw before even thinking about winning though.
-
So looks like that might be it for today... I can't remember a better day of cricket for England in recent memory... not in such a high profile game anyway. Now DO NOT go and throw this away in the last day after all that hard work England!

Umm... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-11837869
-
And we're to tea with just that one wicket down and a small lead... Next job is to get through the first part of the evening session and get back in without losing a wicket...
-
So there goes Strauss... Still, that's a very nice chunk of the defecit taken out. Trott NEEDS to get himself in now... we can't afford anyone to miss here...
-
Is no-one else listening tonight? Oh ye of little faith... We've done well to get to lunch without losing a wicket... Still a long long ways to go...
-
Brighton losing to FCUM, could they get through and face Man Utd? Also LOL... http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?188735-Brighton-amp-Hove-Albion-vs-FC-United-of-Manchester-***-Official-Thread-***&p=3826028&viewfull=1#post3826028

Sound like we're doing what we need to do with a second string team... And do I see yet another dent in Brighton's confidence?
-
Hm, we took those last wickets for 31 runs... it really would have been a completely different game if that LBW had been called right in the morning session.

How much hard disk space do you have free? Cookies and Temporary Internet Files can sometimes get squeezed if you're running low, which might cause the symptoms you describe.

Yeah, something about only having passed my test the month before seemed to make the insurance companies nervous...
-
Hah! Persistence pays off

Alpine was a bit hasty with his doom and gloom I feel, most pundits despite the score feel England have been playing well, and haven't had the rub of the green. Could have been a completely different match with a couple of decisions going the other way... But the doom and gloom... t's justified now Can't believe I've been listening all night for no reward at all >_

Who knows how it would have gone if Hussey had been given out? This one's over now though I fear...
-
Whee, we needed those wickets I should go for a dump more often...
-
Trouble with snicko is we'd have been waiting until just now for the result of the appeal, takes faaar too long. Can't really blame the umpire for not giving that out.
-
From a Saints point of view, they beat us, while Brighton, Colchester and Charlton all took points off of them, if all results were to be expunged due to liquidation. One team is gonna fall eventually, unfortunately.
-
aww dammit
-
Win this appeal and I'd say we'd be the happier of the two teams right now...
-
Whee, fantastic start after lunch, Ponting the key wicket, Katich out quickly as well to leave us with two new batsmen... game on!

My current Ford KA I got for £600, the only problem I've had so far is a broken heater and a stolen aerial but it's really nice to drive ^^ (just annoying that it's cost me more than twice that to insure it >_

260 probably about the minimum we can get away with and stay competititve, the tail did well to scrape up to there. Gonna be tough now but at least we've given ourselves a chance for the rest of the match. I'm looking forward to seeing how well our bowlers can do with the ball already swinging.
-
Acheivement Unlocked... next we need to sneak up to 260...
-
dammit, it'll be an achievement just to scrape 250 from here... then again, maybe we'll be able to bowl just as well.
