  1. OK, re. the forum performance today, we moderators don't have anything to do with that side of it, St Chalet is just posting suggestions from a user's perspective of what might help. We will pass your concerns on the admins as they are the ones that can do something about it.
  2. Lol @ the idiot list on Solent Ooh, equaliser for Swindon, could be 2nd outright with a bit of luck by tonight...
  3. Reading between the lines of the Adkins interview, yes we do have substantial money to spend, but we don't want clubs to know how much we have because it'll push prices up. Looks like the league we're in is the limiting factor in terms of targets, not money, and we don't want people to know who our targets are, probably to stop fan/media speculation and other teams getting involved.
  4. Maybe so. Either way it means our attack is WORKING now.
  5. So I am Charlton will go and score 12 now... We have to get used to this now... winning and not much happening to the table... We're not in a relegation battle any more! Most pleasing thing about the last three games is that Guly finally seems to have gotten used to the English game.
  6. Oops! Didn't check down that far... this league is TIGHT!
  7. Pleased to get away from that with 3 points, sounds like Guly and Lambert are starting to form a real partnership.... Disappointing that Brighton dragged that result but it hasn't been a bad day for us elsewhere overall. Unless Charlton win this evening by 12 goals, tonight will be the first time this season that we've been 2nd without teams able to catch us with their games in hand.
  8. I can see this ending in a draw... Australia won't find it easier from here though, they're relying almost entirely on their next partnership.
  9. Slow start... Aussies just edging it atm but a couple of wickets would turn it our way...
  10. Right, we've been awesome to retain The Ashes, now lets finish this off and win the series... looking forward to this, I'll miss it when it's finished.
  11. Possibly we had an option to buy in the loan agreement (maybe only if both sides agree). If we exercised that it'd be a continuation of the same contract and the bit about having to sign him before 12pm the previous day wouldn't apply.
  12. Has a player ever gone on loan to a club in the division above and done so well before?
  13. You'll be able to see him first hand against your club next season.
  14. So, sweepstake, will we see Pompey in 2012?
  15. If all else fails, take it back to the shop with your reciept and get them to remove it.
  16. So, no Punter for Australia due to aggravating his finger injury, replaced by Pakistani born Usman Khawaja at No. 3 in the batting order(wonder if that'll stop some of the 'South African born' jibes about Trott and Pietersen...) Clarke will take his first test as captain. Bollinger back in to replace the injured Harris, and Beer is still in the squad. The only decisions England have to make are whether to bring Finn back in, who to bring him back in for if they do, and whether to drop Collingwood down below Bell in the batting order.
  17. Close between Fonte and Lallana for me, I choose Lallana. Lambert would probably be there if he'd had the bad form at the start of the year and the awesome form just now, but he hasn't.
  18. Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
  19. Nearly there now... just to finish them off...
  20. Jaidi for me. Was an absolute brick wall at the back, probably shouldn't have gone for the backheel but he managed to pull it off so no-one minds... and he scored as well!
  21. Right then, come on England, Saints have done their part, please don't take too long to finish off a perfect day later on...
  22. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Really really enjoyed that! Nice to end the year in the play-off places, and potentially within striking distance of top two. Starting to think with the January Transfer Window here for us to strengthen, Oxo going from strength to strength, Lambert getting back to his frightening best, the class of Lallana, and having kept up due to teams around us slipping up, we're perfectly placed now to push through the second half of the season and make a bid for the title.
  23. Right, The Ashes has put me in a brilliant mood, well up for this game now... A win today and I reckon we'll be back in the playoff positions and ready to push on in the new year
  24. That's the point though, if their finances are that dire, they almost can't afford to win...
  25. Aww dammit, one more wicket and I reckon the extra half hour would have done for them... Still, it does mean we can finish them off in front of a huge UK TV audience later tonight I didn't think we could top the Adelaide performance, but this, barring anything unbelieveable happening tonight, will have.
