I go to games on my own sometimes.
-
EDIT: "themself" not "themselves"
-
For someone who likes to call themselves "Professor" that is not a very clever post. No one is suggesting the sacking of the frontline staff merely the Executives who ran the club and oversaw its almost complete downfall. Any other Financial Director would have jumped or been pushed by now.
-
I was under the impression that money wasn't the issue.
-
Absolutely right. PR doesn'y always equate with dishonesty as some on here seem to think. We should judge our new owners on their actions to date - which in my opinion have been excellent, honest and professional.
-
I don't know what all the fuss is about. It's a Saints XI. Pardew needs to see things beyond the training ground and I'm sure he is making decisions. I am completely unconcerned about losing this particular match.
-
I agree but yesterday of all days it would have been nice if more people remained seated until the end - just to show the guy who saved us that we appreciated it. Surely that's not too much to ask?
-
Shame people left early especially as ML was there. Any decent pics of our beloved owner?
-
You know what. I would support pretty much any managerial choice. Some Saints fans just need an excuse to moan about anything! We've been bought. We are debt free. We have an owner who desn't mess about and knows his own mind. We have an owner who is committed to Saints for the right reasons. Because of that, I will support his decisions. Simples.

What am I going to worry about now????

It would be nice to actually get some work done for a change rather than logging on here every bloody minute of the day.....here's hoping it's a done deal soon!
-
If it's illegal let Pinnacle go public. The FL would then have to respond and explain. Or not

For the latest Echo headline read this forum the day before!

Shame on you :smt076

If I could be bothered I would list all the main names that have been mentioned in the hope of a response but this place has drained me of all energies.....yet I can't stop from checking in daily

Sends sudders down my spine. Oh dear......

Anyone worth their salt will always have a plan B. Look what happens when they don't...

The people on here slagging off "the Police" are just as bad as anyone slating "saints fans" when this get ugly. There are good cops and yes, there will in any organisation numbering more than 2 people who have a degree of power over others, be bad cops too. Just like there were "good" fans and "bad" fans yesterday. The sweeping generalisations on here say more about the people making them than those they accuse.

I think there are two issues here. The first, fans invading the pitch and acting like morons (throwing missiles at the away fans, damaging the fixtures and fittings of the ground etc...). That is something that many of us on here would probably disagree with. The second issue, walking on the pitch, taking a few photos and milling about is something that I think seems accepted at the end of season. With no real harm done. I was dissapointed and annoyed with the first bunch of so called fans - the people who think it's acceptable to damage our ground, steal memorabillia and throw missiles at other fans. I have no issue with the people who avoided the away fans and took the opportunity to maybe take a picture of their kids on the home bench for example. There is a huge difference between the two. And anyone who justifies the first set of behavoiur because the police got the dogs out (four or five I counted) or acted aggressively are simply doing what school children do when they caught out doing something they shouldn't - find anything that will justify their actions. Police dogs, over zealous stewards, "aggressive" police tactics, poor season, suffering long time fan etc... none of these are excuses for the first set of behaviour. Surely anyone on here who says that those of us who are complaining about the first set of behaviour are "over reacting" can see how we think that some of our fans "over reacted" in their beaviour yesterday? Maybe it would have been different with we had players who could take penalties and set pieces properly? I guess, we'll have to wait a while for that. Here's hoping that this spat will be forgotten, hopefully not repeated, and we get some good news soon. League One here we come!
-
I watched it all unfold from just in front of the directors' box. No one was smiling in there and they watched for a long time. Really disappointed with some of our fans today, especially after all that good singing. We can't blame anyone else except the fans that took to the pitch and moved directly to the away fans. What an end to a horrible season

Why do we never hear from or see the FOOTBALL CLUB directors?

I've gotten used to bad news over the last few years and thought I had become immune to the emotional reactions bad news brings but this has left a hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach. I'm not sure if I'm sad, angry, resigned, fearful or frustrated! Maybe all of the above. I really do now fear for our club. -
Why didn't Gavyn Davies save us from administration?

Winchester is certainly not the only recognised public school in the county but that's beside the point. -
Just because someone charges X-amount per hour doesn't mean they make that in salary. My wife is a para legal. Her charge rate is £100 per hour - she isn't paid £100 per hour. Your rates = salary don't add up.

Not sure why that didn't work.... If you can stomach it cut and paste: http://www.skysports.com/video/clips/0,23791,15855_5161098,00.html
