    Ivan Juric

I would say we were 99% down last night. I think Juric doubles our chances of staying up to the dizzying heights of 1 chance in 50! ๐Ÿ˜
  2. VAR should have got involved if the ref missed a sending off offence. Haven't seen it back yet myself though
  3. The picture is most likely Minella Trump ridden by Brian Hughes leading Fifty Ball ridden by Jamie Moore. Minella Trump is owned by T G Leslie and trained by D McCain. None of the above leads me to any(feasible) manager/head coach I know
  4. Exactly, The MoTD analysis shows we were basically robbed by a totally inept (at least) referee and VAR
  5. There will be at least one 'shock' in the 8 matches. Let's hope it isn't us!
  6. First game back today after an operation in the Summer
  7. Yes very sad news, I always thought Bob gave a pretty measured view of things, though I'd agree with a bias towards Saints. That was OK by me though as I'm biased towards Saints as well!
  8. Good point but I was specifically thinking about ABK. Only just over an hour left for most the countries I would think he might go
  9. However as the hours tick by and windows start to shut around Europe there aren't any teams rumoured to be in for him. I'm sure anyone interested would want him to go through a thorough medical
  10. Sadly unless you bought one of those bolt-on packages no 10% in the store ๐Ÿ˜’
  11. Disagree about the ref. I thought all the cards (I remember) were justified
  12. We've offered Adams an apple(improved contract)? ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€
  13. Contract extension for AA?
  14. Freddie Woodman, Preston goalie?
  15. Just a thought I have never heard of Apoco but there is APCOA who run a lot of station car parks. You haven't been scammed with one of those dodgy QR codes have you?
  16. I really don't see why it's any of the Premier League's business whether there are replays in rounds 1 + 2, that surely have ben subject to EFL and National League consultation rather than by decree. I also xan't see how having replays in R3 is a problem for the Prem. They happen mid January, before Euro fixtures restart and rarely cause disruption (unless it clashes with SFL Cup semi finals (which could/should be sorted if the Prem and EFL could reach an agreement over funding). I think R4 on you can make the argument about fixture clashes, and if L1 and L2 teams have got that far then they've probably done OK financially but then coming to a sensible agreement require people to listen to each other and to look for compromises, something football bodies have been singularly rubbish at.
  17. That's incredibly close. I reckon VAR would have spent at least 3 minutes on this, looking forward to these moments next year?
  18. Just checked, we're 1-50 to be in the playoffs, so 98% spot on. You can get 500-1 for us to win the league , if you fancy wasting a fiver
  19. Essnetially very slim and not worth focussing on unless we win our next 3 games
  20. Well I don't think Aribo was brilliant either. He did some remarkably good things but overall it was his usual curate's egg of a performance. It was definitely one of his better performances but I would have put Downes, THB, or even Che above him as MOTM
  21. Very mixed feelings about this. Lots of sympathy for Rotherham (really enjoyed our trip up there) But very keen that Plymouth survive (just in case), another good away trip
  22. Yes just seen it as well. Captain Moody was brilliant and a lovely tribute on national television. At least they were able to record it before he passed away.
  23. Good luck Ralph, liked him as a manager even when we weren't doing that well. Should either have let him go (with dignity) at the end of the 21/22 season or stuck with him in 22/23 (buying a decent striker to replace Ings would also have helped)
  24. I think those odds slightly underestimate our chances but then I'm biased ๐Ÿ™‚ Another way of looking at those odds is that there will be horses winning at Cheltenham this week with less chance according to the bookies
  25. Even assuming Saints did want to play this week and Hampshire police were ok with this it would have been very hard on Preston fans to have to rearrange travel, hotels, time off work etc at less than a week's notice. Once they said no to this week our options were basically down to two midweeks, either the one that's been picked or the last midweek of the season and I strongly suspect the EFL want to keep that free just in case of other unexpected postponements involving either us or PNE, as the play-off schedule means they dare not contemplate the season being extended.
