The Newcastle situation does seem a bit silly. But anyone who struggles to see the difference between our home kit and Leeds away kit needs their eyes seeing to (imo).

Heard there are going to be interviews with the managers at half time this season. Is this just for live Sky/BT/Amazon games, or streamed to the stadium for fans in the ground for all games. Not sure I necessarily want it. Seems a bit of an americanised idea, and can't imagine there'll be anything too insightful at half time (probably even less so than full time interviews...). And will distract from the relay, which would be the main reason I pay for tickets to games.

The debate on TalkTV has just been cancelled because the presenter collapsed live on air. I listened to one question of it prior to it going off air. Some strange woman used her opportunity to ask one question to the future PM, whether she should become a vegetarian due to the rising cost of meat. I turned over at that point.

Weird. I think most people acknowledge that he had his limitations as a goalkeeper but on balance his positive performances outweighed his negative ones (for the level we were at, at the time). Personally, I think his performance v Leeds was the most memorable day on our rise back to the PL (and arguably 'one of' the most memorable results of my lifetime*). Looking through Twitter, plenty of Pompey fans finally appear to be seeing him for what he is. Lots calling for him to be banned from stadium / complaining about stewards turning a blind eye to his behaviour. Personally, I think as Saints fans, we should campaign for the fuckwit to embarrass their club/city for as long as possible. The more often he's in the stadium, the less often he's infecting society elsewhere.
