Exactly. The youth team I coach were going to mark her passing with a minutes silence before the game, that would've meant more to those players than the damn match being cancelled. Terrible decision.

On the evidence of just a couple of games, Diallo looked better alongside Lavia in that holding midfield 2 than he did alongside JWP. I'd like to see Diallo alongside AMN, freeing up JWP. It's these types of games that we really need to be winning, COYS!!

I’m sure Che is really disappointed with that miss, it is a bit of a howler, no doubt. The rest of his game this afternoon was excellent but rightly or wrongly, he’ll be judged on his goals and he let the team down today.

Diallo’s distribution can be disappointing / sloppy at times. I like his awareness as a DM and once he sharpens the rest of his game up he’ll be an excellent DM.

I think some forget how young Broja is. His form was always going to drop last season. We became too reliant on a very inexperienced striker. Hopefully he is better from that and will continue to grow… ideally with us.

Be careful what you refer to as "news". The Che situation is puzzling. If I understand it correctly: - Che hasn't been in full training. - He's been involved in matches, showing his importance to us. - He played against Cambridge when if he's not been fully fit to train I'd query the necessity of playing this match. - If he is for sale, then we need 2 strikers and we're apparently struggling to get 1 over the line. It all points to Che not leaving. Edit: and the boss said he's not leaving!! 🤣

It's their model, when Bissouma broke through about 4 years ago he wouldn't have been as good the previous CM, he was slowly brought on over a season before he established himself as the first pick CM. Mwepu looks a real force, potentially better than Bissouma and definitely better than your example of Diallo. Bissouma was always going to be sold this summer, they've kept his market value high by playing him when fit and bringing through the likes of Mwepu, Caceido and Mac Allister to replace him, that's clear to see and for clubs like Brighton and us is the best model to follow. Planning doesn't equal success, but a good plan gives you the best chance of succeeding. If we finish above Brighton we will have had a remarkable season but I just can't see that happening.
