  1. All Brighton now according to SSN.
  2. Yeeaaaaaaaaaaahhh connollllyyyy
  3. Get innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
  4. Indeed. I know Fulham do it, I'm sure others do too.
  5. Sat: Brighton 1-1 Huddersfield Brentford 0-2 Saints Mon: Plymouth 1-2 Saints Promoted at Plymouth.
  6. Row OO is the back row. I make it 41 rows from bottom to top.
  7. Don't know why the club haven't opened block 43 and even 44 for the whole of the season, looks crap on TV with huge blocks of seats empty and it's not like we've had many large visiting supports this season, infact only Brighton and Bompey come to mind who have sold out 3,200.
  8. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13192739.stm 12 goal striker Gary Alexander ruled out for rest of the season + "The Bees are struggling with injuries with keeper Richard Lee, centre-half Pim Balkestein and forward Charlie MacDonald all ruled out for the season. Defenders Craig Woodman, Leon Legge and Karleigh Osbourne are all doubts for the last two games."
  9. Connolly is a class act, would probably still be playing in the prem if it wasn't for all his injuries.
  10. 1 piece of good news, 1 nil Orient.
  11. C'mon Franchise and Orient! Huge day for us and we aren't even playing!
  12. Lol at this thread. Anybody who still thinks we can catch Brighton needs their heads seeing to. For us to catch them it would take a team who played in championship winning form all season to suddenly start playing like relegation candidates, never going to happen. Lets just focus on 2nd.
  13. Until Forte came on I thought we had no shape atall, at times in the first half it looked like we were playing 4-2-2-2, Guly and Lallana were just roaming about the pitch where ever they wanted to. No width at all, even if Harding did get forward well. 4-4-2 is the way to go for the rest of the season imo.
  14. 8/18 for me. Would be very surprised if they managed any more than 12 certainly.
  15. Eh? The attendance for that Burnley game was 23,927 according to the BBC, so nowhere near a sell out! Since then we've had 31.5k for the skates, 29.9k against MK Dons in the JPT and 30.8k for Exeter last season on Boxing day.
  16. My fav away game of last season, or even the past few seasons actually so really looking forward to it. Went to a cracking little back street boozer called the Birkbeck Tavern last season. Decent crowd of Saints fans but no busy like the pub on the corner nearer the ground, nice little garden out the back and friendly staff too.
  17. I think so too. Did the predictor thing earlier, had us going up in 2nd by a clear 4 points. The big weekend to pull away will be when we go to Leyton Orient on 9th April whilst Pboro and Huddersfield play eachother. One or both of them are certain to drop points, so a win in east London would be a big moment in the promotion race.
  18. PS, following Italian football as I do, tuttomercatoweb can be quite reliable. Also reports on there about Barcelona as has been posted above. This article is the best though, the title: "Southampton, another jewell" and the first sentence - "The nursery of Southampton is one of the best in England" - http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=246878 Talks about Bale and Walcott obviously, to read the whole thing in English just stick it into google translate.
  19. Also in Italy... http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=257701 Wanted by Juve and Milan. His name is getting around.
  20. Rickieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  21. Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss Deanooooooooooooo
  22. Good website here with loads of photos and videos on - http://www.europeanultras.com/
  23. I've been to Rome loads of times to watch Roma play, atmosphere is great. Met quite a few Ultras, all good people, genuine guys who just love going to football and making it a real spectacle at the same time. Been to 2 derbies which were just mental, and been in the Curva Sud - where all the ultras congregate - 3 times. Last time I was there was in Novemeber for the Bayern Munich game, never experienced an atmosphere like it, when Totti scored to make it 3-2 (having been 2-0 down at HT) the roof just totally came off the place, people hugging eachother and falling over, great stuff. I love all the huge flags and flares they have too. Shame Italian football has lost a bit of that in recent years because of the authorities placing so many restrictions on away fans travelling and what fans can take into the stadiums and also the fan card that got introduced which the Ultras are massively against has reduced attendances. Even so it's a million miles away from this country.
