I used to go to watch Fareham Town at Cams Alder for a couple of years in the mid eighties when Saints were away.It was fun at the time,but I cannot say that I ever supported them. Saints will always be the only team that I ever support. For the record Paul Moody whom Saints signed in the early nineties ,was playing for Fareham at the time.We probably signed him a few years to late.

One for the future,he will get better.I hope we sign him.

The biggest high was going up. The biggest low was the untimely death of Markus Liebherr. On the pitch the biggest lows were losing twice to Rochdale.[Desevedly so]

Perhaps I am in the miniority and agree Dale Stephens has not set the world alight here by any means. However I think he could turn into a decent signing ,if we sign him permanently in the summer. I think CMS and Neil Danns would be good shouts as well.

Now we are out of league 1,maybe NC will change from a 5 year to a 3 year plan to the premier league. Whatever the plan is,it is a great time to be a Saints fan again.

The habit so far this season has been to rely totally on the openers and Simon Jones when he is picked.Ervine,Vince and Mackenzie in particular are all very good players,but for whatever reasons have not applied themselves when batting so far this season.
