  1. I don't think it will have a 'big' impact, the human mind intentionally tries to hide traumatic events away otherwise we'd all be gibbering wrecks, but come the day of the referendum this will certainly be worth a point or two in the direction of Brexit. I'm looking forward to the woolly noncommittal replies from the 'panel' on QT this week when they get asked about this, no balls and too scared to offend anyone.
  2. This is really a thread that I don't want to get drawn into but I thought that to aid clarity I'd reply to just this specific piece of text. I'm Conservative with a 'c', my wife is Labour with a small 'l', and we both want Brexit, so as Wes said don't assume anything.
  3. +1, totally agree (and this bloody forum is begging for a 'like' button for posts !).
  4. Agreed (and until that point I thought he was playing damned well). Disappointing, his aggression's clouding his judgement, needs to see our sports psychologist on Monday (if we have one). Hate to think how high my blood pressure was for the last few minutes.
  5. I doubt losing to us is in particular is such a big worry for him, it's just a continuation of their poor form, but if I was him I'd be more concerned about losing to Koeman and how considering Man U's funds and assets (players) another Dutch manager new to the Premier League showed him how to do it properly !.
  6. I knew Koeman would pick him, I'm assuming that light weight Classie is a bit tired again (poor lad). On his day he is one of the best, but his / his agents attitude with the press stinks.
  7. No.
  8. I didn't know SFC did YouTube live streams, thanks for that :-) (this forum really needs a 'thanks button !).
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35273534 ... like you're holding up a mirror to Saints ?.
  10. My only comment to make is that I think I may put a fiver on that, potential easy money, but I wish the opportunity didn't exist
  11. Why would a professional player, already on a yellow, make a stupid tackle and let down their own team?. It's counter productive.
  12. Prosper
  13. Take this is the good spirit I intend, what are they ?. 'Fan Forums' etc. are near pointless, just club's flattering or inflating select fan's ego's / throwing them a bone... a banner would probably be removed by stewards... a well timed 'boo' is a perfect way to express displeasure https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Booing
  14. To try and somehow get our opinions over to the clubs management after we've spent hard earned money on tickets and shirts... 99.99999% of us can't afford to have corporate boxes / be share holders / be sponsors / have the ear of the Directors
  15. If they can keep up yesterdays performances then damned right they can
  16. Mane usually puts the effort in when he plays, so enjoy having him while it lasts, but boo Wanyama non stop until you lose your voice !. In a 'normal' job I'd have shown Wanyama his P45 by now, however when you're dealing with players with high residual values common sense / typical management practice goes out of the window
  17. Love it, best description of Pelle I've read
  18. Putting himself in the shop window for January, or genuinely had a s**t hot game this evening? (am I being to cynical ?)
  19. Totally agree !. We have skilled great players, but their heads are down and they're stuck in a rut, I doubt that giving predictable positive pep talks at them will make bugger all difference. What's needed is to throw in a few hungry young players from the fringes who are desperate to join the big boys, stir things up as quiet often this rubs off on others around them, I'm stumped though as to who we have who's good enough for this ?. I'd rather lose two or three games with some keen young lads in the squad than just blindly blunder along like we've done for the past few games...
  20. To be honest this has probably happened to most of our first team players with our current slump, only those now being shown to the world by being in the premier league (VVD and Clasie etc.) have probably had their values increase. I'm not sure I'd read much into this as a nice purple patch would reverse it all and start all manner of bulls**t transfer stories as usual. There's a definite issue though with VW though, interest from other teams / the press has distracted him and he's grown an ugly ego, with his attitude and commitment dropping off a cliff and he really needs to sit on the bench for a couple of games. I can't help but compare him to Mane, who after the Man U interest has seemed to grab it for all it's worth and play better now he knows he's being watched ? (he's an example to all our players on how to do it).
  21. Very strong rumour (from those allegedly ITK) that he wanted to sell Costa in the summer, but another Chelsea player went to Abramovich to complain about it, then the potential sale was stopped and Mourinho lost it after that...
  22. Kleber Chala - Delgado's Special Friend
  23. Any site flouting sporting distribution rights is always in danger of being shutdown, more so than those hosting copyrighted material, it's just a matter of time (even old safe haven's like Russia are no longer guaranteed). Constant game of cat and mouse, and why net neutrality is such an important topic.
  24. How much wood would a Will Wood get if a Will Wood could get wood ?.
  25. I'd like to see Pelle on the bench for one game and Mane take his place up front, just to see what would happen (it would either be the second coming or a horrendous mistake, but we don't have the luxury to take the risk though ?...).
