  1. ALL of me feels this is the last thing we should be doing! We'll be relegated, with a decimated squad, potentially no manager and probable changes at the director level. If this does happen then it absolutely shows that Ji Sheng Gao has no interest in Southampton FC as a successful football club, just as a vehicle for his own ambitions within China.
  2. It all comes down to Ji Sheng Gao as the owner of 80% of the club/its parent company. His decisions are crucial to the clubs future, and publicly we know pretty much nothing about his thought processes and future direction for it. Until we know these everything we consider sensible as fans is purely speculation and a fun game on our part on an Internet forum. At the moment all I personally want to know is will he become a hands on owner or continue to keep his distance and let others run this asset that he now owns?
  3. Any evidence for this or just rumour/my mate said?
  4. Watching a stream last night this was what I really took from the game as well. God knows how mentally he can deal with training sessions and try and motivate players when he knows there's really nothing constructive he can do?
  5. If he learns the right time to make substitutions then yes.
  6. It's such utter bull**** isn't it. How on earth could someone who has trouble with English in interviews write something constructed in the way that statement was, at best it was partially dictated and then edited, Saints PR still takes us for fools.
  7. So, considering Pellegrino has finally been sacked how do we treat Carrillo? I don't doubt the move has been beneficial to him financially but him being Pellegrino's desperate stab at getting goals / his love child / a pretty average player is probably going to doom him at Saints. Once Austin is fit again he's a bench warmer at best?
  8. Her decision to sell to a shady Chinese spiv is looking more and more like a very shrewd business decision by her. She could have rolled her sleeves up and spent months and months rebuilding the clubs directors / management team at the end of last season, that would have substantially eaten into her own personal time or any other projects she may have, or to sell at a peak price.
  9. I'm drowning in the schadenfreude In those highlights was he even on the pitch later in the game?
  10. Nail on the head, why on earth should we expect his daughter to be any different? She deserves no hate from us, but neither does she deserve any adulation, she's just the most recent owner and she won't be the last.
  11. If somehow we stay up, and Pellegrino is sacked in the summer, the lad is going to become a pariah with the fans unless he has some magical skills that suddenly materialise (as right now he's bang average, I've seen as good as him in the Vanarama National).
  12. So much this, you could almost feel in your living room how he lifted the team when he came on for City last night. He's the first player I'd buy in my dream team and I'd build out from there.
  13. Sorry, I'm supporting Boreham Wood on Saturday not Eastleigh... Luke Garrard's Black and White Army!
  14. Don't put Bouf in the middle, he links up beautifully with Bertrand on the left. Personally I'd not even include Tadic in the squad, I'm sick of seeing him sat on the floor slamming both his hands down like a child having a tantrum.
  15. Massively so, he was on fire with Boufal on Saturday, so I was gutted when he was sat on the floor looking like it was game over. I think we're under a cloud of many factors, not just players attitude, but if we play well again against Brighton then VVD may well have been toxic to us since the summer.

    Tadic??

Fingers crossed something happens with Promes as Tadic was s**te yesterday, as he has been for around two years. Bertrand and Bouf linked up brilliantly until the injury, however we were poor on the right and than was not down to Cedric

    Prowsey

Our whole family places their arm in the air before he takes a corner, it's become a meme for us. Seriously though if he could just crack his consistency issues he'd always be in my starting eleven *****il we can afford / find someone better).
  18. Gotta' keep trying Adding the ability to like a post would hopefully cut down the 'I agree' replies.
  19. I have visions of Boufal, tucked up tightly in a single bed like Father Ted, with a framed picture of Fabrice above his headboard.

  21. Ji SHeng Gao has not spent £200m, he's spent a small amount of his own money and financed the rest of it, and I expect that his personal exposure to any debt is minimal. Unlike Markus this was a purchase made with his head and not his heart and this can only support Bunsen and Beaker's style of management and embolden them, and yes focusing just on opportunities in Southampton is BS but this was a purchase made for business reasons.
  22. I'd include the hashtag #JiShengGao as well as #SaintsFC, let's make him understand how much 'face' he's losing through all of this.
  23. To busy using the VVD £75m paying off the loan he bought his stake of the club with and diverting the rest of it to an off-shore account I expect!
  24. I'd offer a package too good to refuse to Patrick Vieira to get him back in the U.K., sort out a house for him and his wife, roll out the red carpet to tempt him.
  25. Koeman... Swansea... top comedy, zero chance of that.
