Why do these transsexuals always pick such sh 1t names? I would have thought Frances would have been appropriate - not Kellie, sounds like a porn star.

Not necessarily However, in 2010, Uefa fined Debrecen £15,000 but rejected a protest from opponents Litex Lovech, who wanted the Hungarian side kicked out of the tournament for fielding an ineligible player. Debrecen argued that they fielded Peter Mate in good faith as a substitute in Bulgaria when they were leading 4-1 on aggregate. Uefa ruled that Debrecen had "no interest in fielding this player for the three last minutes of additional time, when the score was so clearly in its favour".

Contracts and Football - How could the game change?

Sounds good but the trouble is that this would have to be implemented worldwide - I can't see the really big clubs agreeing to things being "evened up a bit". It's OK for US major sports to have such a system because nobody else actually plays these "major sports" - not with the sort of salaries paid in the US anyway. -
According to this ITV article the players have ALL left! http://www.itv.com/news/update/2014-08-01/southampton-player-exodus-worries-fans/ But in the video Mr. Payne explains that actually it's only five. God I hate ITV. Interestingly in Rupes little interview he refers to SFC as 'we'.

We don't have 'serious football journalists' in this country.

Yeah, getting sick of that Bruce Buck always going on about Chelsea on the telly.

Never bet on golf - it's too open (see what I did there) and any one of 50 players could come through and win it. The Open is the most difficult to predict of all because of the vagaries of links courses - how many predicted Darren Clarke to win a few years ago?

ML took no risk - 14m to a billionaire is pocket change. We were his hobby - not a risky investment. -
All Man U players should be made to drive the Chevrolet Matiz as part of the sponsorship deal.

As far as I remember, there was some talk about him having a bit too much influence in the boardroom, and he was gently levered out.

The next level being one place higher in the Premier League and still no European football apparently. Oh, silly me, I forgot about the money!

Quite right - Cortese was hardly ever mentioned. Know what you're saying though, the big clubs chairmen always keep a low profile - but this isn't a big club.

I hope he's gone - at least when people talk about 'RK' on this forum I'll know which one they're talking about. If he stays, however, may I suggest that in future: RK1 is Krueger (he was here first) RK2 is Koeman.

I had a quick look through that awful rag he's holding before it hit the bin. If I were a politician of any persuasion I wouldn't want to be associated with it. Good judgement Ed!

Yes, you're right - I always thought that was C B Fry. No, not that prat - the real one.

My first game was 10th January 1959 v. Blackpool FA Cup 3rd Round - we lost. My dad tok me because Stanley Matthews was playing. I note from the programme (which I still have) that Blackpool played in white knickers! - it doesn't say if they were lace-trimmed or not. Anyway I digress - I gave up my season ticket when we gained promotion from League 1 and the old farts concession was raised from 60 to 65. I can honestly say i haven't missed it, the whole Premier League thing really isn't for me, but Eastleigh looks interesting next season - might go to a few matches at the Silverlake.
