Brighton V Saints 1-2 Post match Chat!
doddisalegend replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Ermm Adam? much as I love Fonte I can't pick him ahead of the footballing god that is Lallana -
You don't have to lose them three draws would be just as bad right now......
-
I'd prefer to be in Brightons postion if I'm honest, which is the one I was expecting us to occupy at the end of this season......
-
How do you figure that? We could lose the next three (not that I think we will) and hudders win their next two and the plymouth game would be all but irrelevant.

Bugger! stuck in the back of no where in a cottage in some Welsh valley with a dodgy internet connection, finally get on here to find us 1 down. Come on saints we need to open up some space between us and the following pack. -
It's a funny one this season as most players have had a very mixed season, alot of the players who are standing out right now had some dodgy spells early on in the season, but almost every player has had a vital role to play sometime this season. For example if Forte does nothing else this season, he has already made a big contribution. The only stand out player all season for me is Adam Lallana, he has been head and shoulders above most players on the pitch every time I've seen him play. So Adam it is

Russell Slade feels hard done by then, better team might be strectching it I think From the beeb thought the better team lost today by a mile to be honest. I thought we dominated proceedings in the second period but without getting a goal. -

They might be where they're going wrong;) Lambert has always been an excellent passer of the ball, he is much more than some big lump centre forward. -

agree some people can't help themselves.......... -
By who? I haven't meet a saints fan who didn't rate him. Didn't Barnard have a loan spell at Orient when he was at spurs that didn't go very well? Which might explain his slightly over the top goal celebration..........

Get the **** in, second half was a bit hard on the finger nails. Sounds like Lambert was pulling the strings again with his passing and Fonte was immense. Won with out Lallana playing. Good results else where. Happy days. -
I wouldn't be at all suprised if he took up a coaching role with us after next season. Not only is a beast of a defender he seems to be a good influence on the teams morale as well. In the air he is fantastic with the ball at his feet ..............not so much he always provides some entertaiment every game he plays though.
-
My prefered result would be a draw, followed by a mass brawl resulting in 22 red cards and 3 match suspensions all round plus a hefty 10 pt deduction to both teams for bring the game into disrepute. Failing that i'll take a posh win please.

Well clearly a good goalkeeper wouldn't concede any goals ever............ All the clean sheets are down to Fonte anyway..............
