  1. Well what ever else he's managed to do he has stired this place up like a nest of hornets, is this going to turn into another 7 page thread about how were not bothered by bompey?
  2. I doubt anyone thought back in august that this fixture would amount to much. However the way the season has shaped up this match could be a season defining one and we all have to think about bompey whether we like it or not.
  3. I'm arrogant having spent years being the plucky underdogs, I rather enjoy being the billy big ******** club now. We are the biggest club in this league and I'm going to enjoy it. We should be bending teams over and ramming a large one up them in this league and when we don't I get upset by it. My thinking is sooner or later we will be back in the prem and I can go back to being the meek, mild mannered underdog thankful that we got a point of a visiting Stoke or kept the Man U score down to only 3-0. Till then I'm going to be an arrogant c unt and expect saints to actually beat teams and beat them well. 6-0 againt little old Bournemouth it is then.
  4. LOL it's quite funny and I don't disagree with all of it by any means, maybe a little strong on the hate though.
  5. yep that too. KD is a poor kicker and his time wasting can be very annoying but he doesn't let to many in which is the main thing for a keeper for me. As this is voted for by the players in league I imagine the saints team will all vote for the Wallsall keeper who they couldn't beat for love nor money.
  6. Lambert is only 29 HTBH
  7. Surely the keeper should go to one who has let in the least goals this season that rules out the Posh keeper I would have thought. On Solent they said we've only let in ten goals at home in the league this season thats pretty good (don't know what the away record is like) what ever KDs faults he isn't picking to many balls out of the back of the net.
  8. Whats that saying........ oh yeah........ You got to be in it to win it...................
  9. One of the best things about being in league one for me is seeing all the teams far worse off than us, it kind of puts the whole Saints are so hard done by thing in perspective. We should be thankful for what we've got it could be a lot worse Having said that I thought this year was going to be our year and I'm gutted that it hasn't turned out that way, hell if we can't win league one what hope have we got further up the football ladder of winning anything?
  10. Errmmmm yes we would......... in fact any team who played amazing football and thrashed every team they played would have a hard time not being promoted........
  11. Poor first half and a good second half typical saints display really. Luckily Yeovil came to play and not park the bus which always helps us out. Onto the big one (I really never thought playing bompey would be a big match). We have our tails up they're going to be desperate to make up for tonights loss 10 goal thriller here we come. Bit worried by Nigels after match interview on solent though, he really should know which of our players scored...............
  12. Class real class........
  13. What if we lose?
  14. Yeah of course. What else am I gonna do on a saturday? shopping with the missus, wash the car, **** that SMS and the odd away game win out everytime.
  15. I should point out I really don't find Alpine that much of a problem he has own views I might not agree with them but he's perfectly entitled to them . It's the constant insult trading between half this forum and alpine that annoys me it seems like every thread is getting ruined by play ground name calling and points scoring.
  16. I know some of you find him annoying, but does every f ucking thread have to turn into Alpine bashing? It seems like every thread I go on ends up being more about Alpine and how he chooses to support saints than the topic in hand. It really is getting f ucking annoying. Could we just have one thread for those who can't help themselves to vent their spleen on and let Alpine reply in kind? So that other threads around here can be about saints and not what Alpine does that upsets people.
  17. It's interesting that of the nine games we've lost this season seven have been to teams in the bottom half of the table. Going on that we will win all the ones that look tough on paper and lose all the ones that look like points in the bag. Prepare to lose 4-1 to brizzle rovers at home then....................
  18. LOL at this thread, still I had us down to go up as champoins this season................................ so Ho-hum life of a saints fan.
  19. Totally agree. If I had my way the players would be horse whipped through the city centre after every defeat as punishment...................
  20. After 3 whole matches...... I don't know but your keeping the thread alive so good job.
  21. 9 losses this season 7 to sides in the bottom half of the table so you've probably got a point no doubt we'll thrash bompey on sat and lose 0-6 to Yeovil.
  22. We didn't need to we had a guy who could put them in the goal from just inside the half way line. Take Le Tiss out of the equation and we would have been hammered into relegation long before we were. None of the teams down here have anything comparable to Matty. Good teams will always get beaten by poorer teams otherwise football would be pointless. Top teams make sure it's a very rare occurance that's what makes them top teams.
  23. I'm not sure I agree with that. Pardew used to say his teams were picked according to how the players performed in trainning that week. Nigel might be different but I'm betting he's not. If your not getting into the team the only way to show the manager you deserve to be is in trainning. If the manager turns around and tells player B he ain't getting into the match day 11 unless player A really ****s up during a game (or gets injuried) thats going to be pretty de-motaviting to player B. Kind of makes a nonsense of the competition for places arguement too.
  24. ummmm Matt le Tissier
  25. The Manager must see them trainning every week though and seems to have settled on Butters and Harding as the better pair of backs for us. Richardson and Dickson can't be showing enough in trainning for the manager to think about changing things.
