Who plays alongside Ings vs Brighton?
captainchris replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Gabbiadini if not Gallagher -
How on Earth you can accuse ‘most people’ of lacking balance and perspective on this forum I don’t know.... You are rather too concerned with your own ‘perspective’ mate on many counts. You need to watch a game a lot more closely before you start accusing people of lacking perspective and take a look your sanctimonious attitude to others opinions.
-
My God. If you have to try and strengthen your weak argument by questioning my English on a minute technicality you really do need to find more evidence to back up your opinions on the subject. A poor attempt discredit my point which is, by the way based on 20 games not just one pass in one game. Crawl back in your study and stick to what you claim to know best - construction of sentences! Idiot!

He scuffed it about 3” when he could/should of properly cleared it. Generally a slight better performance from him yesterday but still not the player Yoshi is I’m afraid.
-
Hughes has no bloody idea here. We ARE TOO DEEP
-
What for thigh ball ???
-
Respect for Hughes gone with the Hoedt selection. What on Earth is he thinking ????
-
Hughes is just looking very strange indeed with his team selections.... What is it with football managers .....
-
Davis and Romeu ummmmm Dynamite....
-
Yes I believe you are right which is really truely staggering.... If Hughes honestly think Hoedt is good enough for the Premier League then we have a serious problem with him at the helm and I was one of his advocates to get the job full time too.... Managers who either cannot see their weakest players or are not capable of dropping players they ‘clearly’ are bias towards are doomed to fail.
-
I’ll have a pint of what your on please.... Just odd - Hoedt yeah right and - yeah well
-
Now that is abusive ! Thank you!
-
An opinion is not necessarily ‘abuse’ if he’s crap then fans are entitled to say so. He is a ‘terrible’ There you are, more abuse for you.
-
If Hughes picks Hoedt for the next game then we have a massive problem for this season. There is little hope if he can’t see the guy is way off PL standard.
-
Sensible move, he needs game time. Watched him the other night in under 23s and he was really quite short of first team standard in that one.
-
Oh ‘simplistic’ ..... Really... If it’s about individual mistakes then you can put one of your choices for your midfield right up there. Romeu has been very poor for a long time now... Clumsy, slow of thought and well short of the required level. Not fit to clean Wanyama’s boots.
-
Though I’d like to Gabbiadini In we really do need to flood the midfield and build from there at the moment.
-
Nailed !
-
So you actually think Romeu is good enough just to clarify?
-
Why are are successive managers blind to Gabbiadini and his skill - are they stupid? Why are successive managers hell bent on playing Hoedt who is by any stretch of the imagination crap !
-
Strange line up again, even allowing for illness and injury.... If Hoedt is better than Yoshida then - well ..... we need to control the ball up there so definitely would have had Gabbiadini instead of Austin..... Romeu again - not sure either ... It was an odd selection last week to start with too....
-
Several references to keeping it tight at Everton by Hughes ..... Back five again or bluff ... ?
-
Come on Saints go positive, this is very winnable ....
-
Valery about the only one who looks remotely like making it out of that bunch. Disappointed with Sims.
-
Romeu upped it from pretty dire to something slightly better...Than dire. The critisism is justified he has been off the pace for a long time now.
