Yes I believe you are right which is really truely staggering.... If Hughes honestly think Hoedt is good enough for the Premier League then we have a serious problem with him at the helm and I was one of his advocates to get the job full time too.... Managers who either cannot see their weakest players or are not capable of dropping players they ‘clearly’ are bias towards are doomed to fail.

If Hughes picks Hoedt for the next game then we have a massive problem for this season. There is little hope if he can’t see the guy is way off PL standard.

Sensible move, he needs game time. Watched him the other night in under 23s and he was really quite short of first team standard in that one.

Why are are successive managers blind to Gabbiadini and his skill - are they stupid? Why are successive managers hell bent on playing Hoedt who is by any stretch of the imagination crap !

Strange line up again, even allowing for illness and injury.... If Hoedt is better than Yoshida then - well ..... we need to control the ball up there so definitely would have had Gabbiadini instead of Austin..... Romeu again - not sure either ...
