Can't understand why RK talks about healthy competition for places and continues to pick a guy who is blatantly pretty poor and has been most of the season. Also he messes up our rythem of play. He reminds me of a Subbuteo centre forward except not quite as mobile!

Compare him to a errrrr Pelle - omg Pelle wouldn't have played for anyone in the old first division - not a chance...... Channon and Pelle ? It would be an insult to think about comparing them !!!!! Which just brings home how carp Pelle is. Keegan was REAL class and Lawrie was the sole reason we got him.... Two legends along with a few others in that era...

How on Earth can RK justify Pelle starting in this game! We were poor when he was last in the team prior to his injury, we have been excellent while he was out and poor again in terms of play last week when Pelle started and contributed the sum total of zero! Why would you include him this weekend - defies logic....

No way that all three forwards should play at once. We were over run in midfield Saturday. The gives us no balance and no control of the ball. Admitedly Pelle is useless but even so my call is two only up top and not one of those 'in behind ' Davis a as forward midfielder yes....

Pelle has had a bucket full of playing time this season and been poor throughout or at least apart from the first three weeks of the season. We have proved we are better without him now.

A very courageous performance today. You have to say momentous defending. However even before the sending off we were just not well coordinated. It was a very disjointed performance and the team selection really was the cause. Three up front (make that two because Pelle is a total passenger just leaves us with light in midfield with no link between defensive midfield and attack.... Koeman has a terrible habit of tinkering and repeating previous mistakes or learning from team selections that work. I know Taggart was injured but there was no need to play Pelle at all and it could and should have cost us. The worrying thing is that the result will mask the poor performance... By saying that I am not disputing the effort put in, just that the team did not function.....

I'm sorry but we need the quick forward guys up front and a Midfielder on in place of the useless waste of space Pelle... Why was he picked? Out rhythm has been badly affected by his inclusion.... Constantly outnumbered in midfield allowing West Ham to control the game. Get Pelle OFF
