Well done Leicester.... Although they enjoyed incredible 'luck' or slight bias with referee decisions in the last few games which could and should have blown the title wide open for last 6 or 8 games.
-
Well let's hope Ronald now does realise that this team is close to the best eleven. A mobile front line without Pelle has seen our most effective football.... Next it's to settle the central midfield. Really not sure about Classie, Romau has more class for me although he did lose his man for their second which was a costly mistake.... His awareness might therefor be an issue...... Great win get the key players contracts sorted decide on keeping RK and start getting ready for a real go next year.....
-
M I think you will find that we have been informed on more than one occasion we have been told that these things are always well in hand on a continuous basis. On this basis we would already have our short list to hand so it wouldn't take a year.... Someone suggested RK is attracting interest from Everton which made me laugh out loud for some reason ..... Hilarious !
-
Clasie has been a dissapointment really and won't take us to the promised land... Prefer Romeu.. For same reasons many have suggested...
-
One thing we do know is despite offering the sum total of zero again this weekend Pelle's name is the first one on the team sheet.. I will start the build up thread for the following game too .... See my previous sentence...

Danny Fox was the worse left back we have seen in a long long time which makes Harding better...by quite a way... Back on subject, a good win for us today to prove our credentials for top 7... A northerly biting wind in the Northern outpost of Liverpool doesn't bode well for Pelle.... If he doesn't 'turn up' send on Rodrigues and drag Pelle off.. -
Football is not brain surgery so no use pretending it is.... It's a relatively simple game and 'qualifications' are really not an indication of an ability to work out how to win any given game... 'Training' is also just that at the end of the day. It's whether you can perform in a match situation that really counts. It is evident that some managers including ours do pick a team based on training rather than personal performances in a match. Not always to the best effect.... If qualifications were that important to being a good manager there would be no bad ones and there certainly are some pretty poor qualified managers around....
-
K Ok except for not sure about Clasie and three including Mane, Austin and Long. Two of three only works well. Bring Austin on later and let Pele have a long rest for the rest of the season....Errrrr and next ;-))
-
Don't let injuries and suspensions mask what is a definate trait..... Koeman tinkers far too much ....
-
Very concise and worrying that Pelle gets picked no matter what..... His performance against Leicester was shocking yet again...
-
Too much tinkering. Koeman tries to be too clever. Picks a team that plays well and then makes three, four or five changes.... Leicester have shown the value of a settled team and concentrating on your strengths rather than 'surprising' the opponents - for what gain? Leicester have also shown the value of a very mobile attack which we had and we're playing well with until Koeman decided to go static again for no need or reason to... Koeman just loses his way with all the changes and we end up with constant experiments...
-
Well we've had the one reasonable performance out of Pelle it would and today he was his normal dreadful static self. Koeman will pick him for ever which is stunting our progress. We have to drop Pelle to ensure we have movement and players that actually attack the ball and make runs niether of Pelle does... Not good enough for this team - unload him....
-
Quinn you moron
-
Wow-Sheffield Utd were terrible tonight..... Total dross... Wouldn't have thought Nige will last there now..... Shame.... The Southend lad Payne was very decent though and would be well worth a punt...man of the match by a mile...

Alex Chamberlain available in the summer?
captainchris replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Has he really turned out to be that good? Often injured and 50/50 whether he is now good enough.... -
Kg And there you again ranting about other posters ...
-
At least I talk about the team ! All you talk about is other posters. Have something to say why don't you.... Perhaps you would enjoy a gardening forum more where you will never have to have an opinion of your own... Find some passion and express it, you might enjoy it!

Good to see Pelle standing still ball watching in training too! I thought he must be a world beater in training to get automatic selection every week after such atrocious performances .... ;-) Mane and Long please.... I suspect his name is already on the team sheet again this week ....

Your point about Koeman finding the answer and then asking the question again is spot on. It's as though he forgets what he has tried previously.... His continuous experimenting is really quite bizarre and detrimental to the team cohesion. To only realise now that Pelle is wasting procession time after time is rather admission that he doesn't see the game in any detail. When is Koeman going to realise that Pelle needs coaching in other areas just as urgently? A premier league manager needs to recognise where his successes and failures lie far quicker. Koeman is demonstrating he is not capable of this.... Now I'm not saying get Steve McLaren in but I am saying he is not going to take us where we want to go.... -

Oops, you sound rather touchy and typical of the few that come on here and never have any comment other to rubbish the people who actually do have.... If you are actually blind to Koemans mistakes then that's fine by me... I have no axe to grind with you for that .... -

I am not going to bother to reply to your rather weak justification for disagreeing of my criticism of Koeman over a sustained period of poor management. -

Really don't think that is the main problem. Koeman with randome radical tactical errors and poor team selection is murdering us
