Oh please, not the age thing again.... he is not 18 any more. Now is his time to be the finished article...
-
I will keep this very brief. Agree..
-
I know we are a bit short at the moment but is Clasie really worth persevering with. He is not a long term solution to any problem........

TADIC SHOULD BE NOWHERE NEAR PENALTIES

Congratulations on your pathetic contribution.

Been in the Chapel a couple of times. Never again..... Actually got abuse from one guy for shouting! Wtf, this is a blinking football match! I would of thought they would be better watching at home in peace and quiet. I suppose they come to the ground for the atmosphere ironically!
-
Don't usually rate Clasie at all but he had a good game against Burnley! Enough said I suppose....
-
Bexy can I just say congratulations on pointing this out. Vvd is a very special player, however, you are correct and well spotted. I was going to make the same point but get tired of the trolls that trawl this site aiming personal abuse at anything they assume to be not vitriolic worship of every player and moment surrounding SFC. The last two goals were preventable and we maybe discovering a costly weakness in Virgil's game.... So to clarify - I love to watch him play and he's undoubtedly very talented but work to do yet....
-
maybe Morgan is slightly better than Classie but you score him rather higher than many on here and there is a good reason for that. He wasn't quite as good as the hype he still receives and hence he cannot get very close to a regular spot with Man U and is not in the French squad either..... Leave him be at the Theatre of Dreams .....

The tannoy is totally rubbish in the Kingsland North. Barely here it...

I would normally be classed a bed wetter on here but can't hold a candle to this post. Personally don't agree with most of the negative stuff in this post. At no stage were we awful..... I thought VVD was aweSOME ...... Burnley were terrible of that there is no doubt but just maybe that was a testiment to how good we are. We will find out in the next two games to some degree....
-
Just wanted to say again - bloody impressive football ! Shows what coaching can and should achieve...... Sublime football .... The astonishing thing is that in this system every player looks good.. Even Clasie who I admit to not being a fan of looked great today. Lots of plaudits rightly for McQueen but Jrod did very well when he came on too which was good to see...
-
What superb performance. Puel's coaching is top class... Burnley are truly dreadful or are we we truly pretty damn good? Good luck to Puel, that is proper football and a joy to watch.... The standard of reffing in the Premier league is mightily bad... J Rod did well when he came on too and McQueen must be very chuffed with z very impressive performance..

Christ mate which planet are you living on? There are literally thousands of jobs a footballer could do after he finishes! Is running a pub the limit of your job availability knowledge? Like everyone else they can find a job and learn new skills. Do stop banging the drum for the poor unfortunate footballer who's only other career path is a landlord!
-
The 'only a short career' clap trap is very annoying.... Well you can still work after football!! Hardly anyone has a continuous career in one job anyway. The money is obscene of that there is no doubt at all. Buy a Sky Sports deal though and you contribute. I am Not saying it is bad, only that I have chosen not too personally. There are evidently millions that choose to pay. Have to say though that I have met a couple of people recently who have stopped Sky Sports so I imagine that Sky have seen some resistance across the country. I like Shane Long's honesty on the pitch but object to the wages paid to players generally when yes, so many people struggle to buy even basics for their families. There is no way that the money paid can be justified. The short career sentiment will not wash...

On the face of it he wasn't trying to make money for himself, however we don't know that. Why did he attend this meeting then ? What was his motif for the meeting? Why would he offer such advice? Why also did he allegedly offer specific names and clubs, wouldn't that be slightly odd to a total stranger? Is this behaviour associated with someone who disassociates himself completely with such dealings? 'On the face of it' is one thing...... His position is now very tarnished in my view. He should not have attended such a meeting.

Wait a minute, we are employing an assistant manager who lives 140 miles away....... Wtf is that about????? If the bloke cannot be arsed to move here and commit to the job then he should not be here anyway..... I find this type of strategy in employing an important manager baffling.... In fact it cannot work - end of! Get rid..... The bloke must be sacked........oh dear stupid guy...Well done the Telegraph for exposing the bent people in the game...
-
Idiot his record before he came was dodgy - a very strange appointment. Straight out of the Black Box it would appear! T.w.a.t Now sod of back where you came from.
-
Just plain nasty comment for no reason .... Shame you felt the need. It was a fair comment ..... Whether you agree or not.
-
I think Puel will mainly go with the team of the European game with a maybe a youngster in the melting pot. We need to give game time to the squad members who need to get match fit and stay sharp. For the record Puel seems to understand the squad needs to play to a system that everyone works to. We are not blessed with lots of magnificent players and so the system is key. Fair play to Puel, he is working well with what he has.....

Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official
captainchris replied to Sergei Gotsmanov's topic in The Saints
Well yes, however scoring in struggling side in the championship is not that easy.... This guy could make it with us ..... Yet.... -
If he thinks that he might actually say it..... As we don't know who they might be though that is hardly an opinion it is still just aspersion on another persons post.
-
Just for once mate - just once why don't you stop making childish remarks towards people on here who have something to say and say something yourself! Perhaps you have nothing to say - I suspect by your continued spiteful comments to others that is the case... Have an opinion of your own about Saints or be quiet.
-
An excellent post Marmite. You have what many are thinking. We cancelled Sky Sports last week. The premier league has a non stop commercial promotion for the top six. That's the usual top six! Sky and Talk Sport can talk about nothing else. The money in the game is obscene and no footballer is worth the money they are paid. Added to which they will all change alegence for yet more money... In addition however we seem to be surrendering big style to big boys and decided not to try and compete at all..... So generally yes would rather play my own sport and have definately dropped to a four out of ten on enthusiasm this year. That is both for being glued to news about Saints and Premier League football.... Have to say I didn't realise so many people were feeling the same way, that is fascinating ....

You might have happily accepted them but don't include us all in that. The Chinese thing might have legs and I hope it does. I don't think the present owners have the enthusiasm to push on. It doesn't take a genius to work that out either so let's embrace the idea of an owner with more money and more ambition which at this stage is really what we now need. I would say thanks to the family but realistically I think they have had enough and are beginning to tread water which in time can only lead one way. I can't see them risking a sudden collapse in fortunes and thereby value of the club. Their work is done, football like the world is moving at a rapid pace, you need a lot of bottle to play at this table and the Chinese are used to raising the stakes.....
