We always sell cheap so would be surprised if we didn't this time too.... VVD is better than Stones. The funny thing about that sentence is that Stones is really not that good. All hype and no substance.... So VVD is worth 60 plus why would we sell for less???? We are completely in the driving seat... ..

Not Clasie or Davies please... these guys are becoming reserves very rapidly...
-
Well done Saints! Koeman will no doubt retire to the golf course for another week to contemplate how to organise his new 'bigger club' Shame for him though ....
-
Three up front cannot work.... We are weak in mid field - outnumbered.... There is a mental block with some players when it comes to scoring...
-
Congratulations a great reply to the many idiots on here with nothing to say except critism of other posters. Have an opinion of your own or get of here!
-
Wow that was seriously bad Martina defending - seriously basic.... Would have thought he would be embarrassed ......

Agree, there is little wrong with the 'plan' The issue is players not going for goal. We are goal shy with not enough personal risks being taken to score by too many players. Puel is getting a lot from these players and the football is good to watch. Puel is hampered the tools he has to use and he must be thinking about how he can change certain personel. It will take a while but Puel is a very good manager and coach imo .

This is very true. Tadic is a concern. As reflected in all his penalties he has a mental issue with scoring goals. He has apparently mentioned that he 'prefers' assisting... he really is a skilful player but the end product is lacking. Get someone to look inside his head because he has the skill. He really has to take the responsibility on his shoulders to score goals. At the risk of some idiot on here saying I have a thing against Classie he is not quite there and will also never score - Davis has faded and the game is mostly just too quick for him now, a decent player buy fading fast now and again is very unlikely to score like the other two he is goal shy in many ways. We have too many players hiding when it comes to putting the ball in the net and they need to be aware that everyone has to pitch in. On balance you have to say the European match team looks a better side, however the psychology side needs a look at. If everyone sees their role as assisting only we have a problem....

What on earth are you dribbling on about ???? You seem to have thirst for trolling on here and to cap it all appear to have got the wrong person! The polite way to describe your post is twaddle! Now buzz off and leave me and others alone please. Thanks

No one else finds it strange, that's right....
-
Oh please, not the age thing again.... he is not 18 any more. Now is his time to be the finished article...
-
I will keep this very brief. Agree..
-
I know we are a bit short at the moment but is Clasie really worth persevering with. He is not a long term solution to any problem........
-
TADIC SHOULD BE NOWHERE NEAR PENALTIES
-
Congratulations on your pathetic contribution.

Been in the Chapel a couple of times. Never again..... Actually got abuse from one guy for shouting! Wtf, this is a blinking football match! I would of thought they would be better watching at home in peace and quiet. I suppose they come to the ground for the atmosphere ironically!
-
Don't usually rate Clasie at all but he had a good game against Burnley! Enough said I suppose....
-
Bexy can I just say congratulations on pointing this out. Vvd is a very special player, however, you are correct and well spotted. I was going to make the same point but get tired of the trolls that trawl this site aiming personal abuse at anything they assume to be not vitriolic worship of every player and moment surrounding SFC. The last two goals were preventable and we maybe discovering a costly weakness in Virgil's game.... So to clarify - I love to watch him play and he's undoubtedly very talented but work to do yet....
-
maybe Morgan is slightly better than Classie but you score him rather higher than many on here and there is a good reason for that. He wasn't quite as good as the hype he still receives and hence he cannot get very close to a regular spot with Man U and is not in the French squad either..... Leave him be at the Theatre of Dreams .....
-
The tannoy is totally rubbish in the Kingsland North. Barely here it...
-
I would normally be classed a bed wetter on here but can't hold a candle to this post. Personally don't agree with most of the negative stuff in this post. At no stage were we awful..... I thought VVD was aweSOME ...... Burnley were terrible of that there is no doubt but just maybe that was a testiment to how good we are. We will find out in the next two games to some degree....
-
Just wanted to say again - bloody impressive football ! Shows what coaching can and should achieve...... Sublime football .... The astonishing thing is that in this system every player looks good.. Even Clasie who I admit to not being a fan of looked great today. Lots of plaudits rightly for McQueen but Jrod did very well when he came on too which was good to see...
-
What superb performance. Puel's coaching is top class... Burnley are truly dreadful or are we we truly pretty damn good? Good luck to Puel, that is proper football and a joy to watch.... The standard of reffing in the Premier league is mightily bad... J Rod did well when he came on too and McQueen must be very chuffed with z very impressive performance..

Christ mate which planet are you living on? There are literally thousands of jobs a footballer could do after he finishes! Is running a pub the limit of your job availability knowledge? Like everyone else they can find a job and learn new skills. Do stop banging the drum for the poor unfortunate footballer who's only other career path is a landlord!
-
The 'only a short career' clap trap is very annoying.... Well you can still work after football!! Hardly anyone has a continuous career in one job anyway. The money is obscene of that there is no doubt at all. Buy a Sky Sports deal though and you contribute. I am Not saying it is bad, only that I have chosen not too personally. There are evidently millions that choose to pay. Have to say though that I have met a couple of people recently who have stopped Sky Sports so I imagine that Sky have seen some resistance across the country. I like Shane Long's honesty on the pitch but object to the wages paid to players generally when yes, so many people struggle to buy even basics for their families. There is no way that the money paid can be justified. The short career sentiment will not wash...
