I am not totally sure Fonte is doing a lot for 'team spirit' whilst here now so that reason for keeping him is a bit of a red herring... Like he needs a testimonial.... these things are so yesterday.....

Well a welcome change to the bog standard 'give him till Christmas' answer.... I think the question is are you for in or out now? A vote for kick the can down the road for another six weeks isn't a voting option, however I would think meetings are going on behind the scenes as to what Puel's plan is. After all we were playing some decent football for a while and creating a hat full of chances then he appeared to change the style and I am not sure why... It has to be said that individual mistakes cost us but on the other hand we did not score again and considering Everton and WBA were dire that is very worrying... I would say look at it again after Burnley. The powers that be will know if morale is low because of Puel and what Puel's plan is. Puel really does now need to take responsibility for picking his best team and stop hiding behind fixture congestion. He also needs to decide on his best tactical formation and get the team fit! We are obviously running out of steam very quickly in games despite all the rotation and despite also a policy of not closing down for Gods sake, this has to be addressed immediately ! Also this Eric Black appears to have been an abject failure everywhere he has been so what on earth is he doing here? Oh and what's happening with non existent goalkeeping coaching???? Several issues going on which are being allowed to continue week in week out... People need to be accountable for putting things straight before they are sacked and maybe it's higher up the food chain that accountability begins.......

A very dodgy line up.... Puel has some very strange thinking at times. The Manager needs to show more tactical wareness in this game. If play in our own goalmouth again then improvement in the future is very unlikely. At 6 to 5 Everton that looks a very good price indeed... Come on Puel be brave or walk away.... The faint hearted never won anything. Pressing for the whole game.... After being a fan of Puel he is now starting to show an alarming lack of comprehension of what is happening on the pitch. Is he too weak? Is he not a winner? This game will tell us a lot. Does Puel have 'Possibilities' and 'concentration' ? I am looking forward to seeing what he is really made of....

In any other industry a change would be made .... Puel seems now to be a bit of s bottler ..... Many people are rightly asking questions ..... Can Puel answer the growing calls for answers ? I did like him but starting to have doubts. . If we play deep again and Forster plays against WBA then I will be asking him to resign ...

Another will not make a blind bit of difference to a team who play in their own goalmouth whilst leaving their only striker to wander around with no Saints player within 50 yards of him! The issue is more with tactics and to some extent a very shaky goalkeeper plus to a lesser extent but still relevant we have VVD who gets caught far to often with the man he is marking getting ahead of him. I would suggest something radical like playing him in defensive midfield. Tactically we simply have to play further up the pitch all game. We can all see us dropping deeper and deeper after the first few minutes. The question as one or two have said is also are we really fit enough because we look off the pace when we play fitter well organised teams. I was a Puel fan but he does need to earn his money now, recognise we are generally far too deep....

Yes Spurs are better than us but tactically we need to wake up and play a higher line, we are just inviting them on to us...

I am not that we did actually underperform when he was out of the side. As previously mentioned considering to superstar status that some afford him on here we are not in a worse position without him. He flattered to deceive in reality... Not as good as Wanyama and no better than Rom .. Let the emotions flow from the Happys ....

For me Fonte has been less of a player this year. Not sure of reasons but he is fortunate to be playing as often as he is. That means we should be looking to replace him. A year ago definitely not, however now..... It is not as cut and dried....

Foresters positioning when the ball in play near him is nothing shot of dreadful.... Has been for ever and still is! We have to look at the coaching for this hopeless schoolboy play by Forster.... Yes he is poor a a few basic goalkeeping skills, however nothing has been done about it at all..... Drop him now.... As for the rest of his form .... pretty average..
