  1. Which particular issue are you referring to ??? There are so many to choose from with him.
  2. I had a patent (3 selections , 7 bets ) before the season started on Pompey to be bottom at Christmas (looking good . I may even lay some of it off this Saturday ), Saints to be promoted (looking a better bet each week that passes) and ..... Ipswich to win the Championship :-( :-( Oh well. 2 out of 3 ain't bad and maybe Keano can inspire a Sunderland style charge out of his team!!
  3. Just seen the highlights. The first Norwich goal showed how we miissed Jaidi. He would have won the first ball in the air and snuffed the danger out. Holt was definitely offside for the second goal. How come the lino never spotted it??? I would have bneen gutted to have been knocked out by those 2 goals if we hadn't won the penalties.
  4. I bet that MLT would not deprive the club of money by abusing his season ticket. Confess all 19 C . Turn yourself in. I think it is appalling how "fans" like you abuse the privileges of a season ticket.
  5. By doing this, you do realise that you have breached the terms of your season ticket. Season tickets are non transferable. It is part of the terms and conditions of buying one. We know that you have a high moral code ... after all you have banged on and on and on about MLT 's supposed misdeameanour, bringing it up again and again and again. How can you live with yourself? You have denied your club of much needed revenue. I am sure that you are totally ashamed. Please turn yourself in and confess to the ticket office. Personally I don't believe you. I reckon you were at home watching the Pompey score come through on Ceefax. Who on earth would invite you to a Christmas function??? How on earth could you have given your tickets to "one of my mates" (note the plural) because there is no way that you have any!!
  6. I hope not. I was going to SMS that day. Colchester is 2 days later.
  7. How about voting for him for Sports Personality of the Year ??? PM next year.
  8. lol. Good old 19 C. Always good for a laugh!!

I didn't do the Cup Final but I did make all of the Saints games. I don't think that I have ever felt so low after a match as I did after that semi. The pain of 2 relegations did not seem as bad as that cup defeat. After the match, I went for a pre arranged drink with a friend who had been there supporting Everton. It was not a great evening!!

I agree with the OP that Frank Worthington was our weak link that season. From memory, I think that he only scored 1 goal. But what a great season it was. The cup run was magnificent. I think that we were drawn away from home every time & only needed 1 replay. Forest away in the 3 rd round was good as was Blackburn on a friday night but how could anything compare with the victory at nottarf krap ?? I have never witnessed such an atmosphere!! Pure hatred from the neanderthals!! We were kept in for so long afterwards that Steve Moran came out onto the pitch for his MOTD interview and we were all still there. Brilliant!! I really hope that younger fans can experience the same joy with Saints.

    I agree.
  13. Should we have a sweepstake on when Pompey's administration will be announced?? I thought that if they had lost yesterday, thy may have announced it soon. If they had lost they would have been 7 points off safety - which is quite a lot when you ahave only gained 7 points all season !! However yesterday's result gives them more hope I suppose. I go for an admin date of 10th March. They play Chelsea the week before and Liverpool a few days later. They won't do a Rupert and wait until it is too late.If it is in March at least we get another 3 months to enjoy their plight - ie Players not being paid // Lurid newspaper headlines // Rumours // Counter rumours // Court cases // Arrests etc etc What a farce!!
  14. I predict that at the end of the season we will find that the minus 10 points has not really mattered. We will reach the play offs but even without the 10 point deduction we would not have made automatic promotion. Leeds , I think are too far away to be caught by us. They are 24 points ahead . Either Norwich or Charlton will accompany them. They are 16 and 20 points clear of us - and I do not think that we would catch them even if we had the 10 points restored. However I do think that we can still reach a play off position. We can make up enough ground to get into a top 6 position - and once in the play offs we will stand a great chance of winning.
  15. I do not understand what you are saying. Who are these other employers giving jobs in football to JP and Wotte? Nobody else has yet employed Wotte. JP is now back languishing in the lower leagues of Dutch football (with, apparently, another relegation beckoning) and hasn't been snapped up by another English club. How do I know that Strachan and Souness walked?? Because they said so!! Are you saying that Lowe sacked them as well?? "So many managers came to work for him" ?? The fact that he had to scour the lower leagues of Dutch football to find someone to work for him illustrates his desparation in getting people to come and work for him.
  16. Explain to me why last week, after you promised us that you would not pollute this forum any longer with your views about MLT , have you come back to hijack yet another thread with views which no true Saints fan would subscribe to? Is it too much to expect you to hold one consistent view from one week to the next???
  17. Of course not. They were established names in English football when they came to Saints. Stachan and Souness walked because they could see Lowe's limitations and their standing would , if anything, have improved because of that. Wotte (and Portfvleit) came to this country pretty much unknown. Their "talents" had only been "spotted" by Lowe and guess what .... they haven't got another job in English football.
  18. Fair point ... but how about Wotte?? I suspect that he is tainted by his association with Lowe and that is what is preventing him from getting another job in English football.
  19. The judgement of anyone who hitches himself to the Lowe bandwagon has to be questioned doesn't it 19 C???
  20. I think the most interesting example of double standards is someone saying that he wasn't going to bore us yet again with his views about MLT and then he mahages to raise it yet again in a thread that had nothing to do with MLT. You are ckearly a sad obsessed individual. Sometimes the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing does it 19C???
  21. I see that your promise to never mention MLT again lasted about a week . Anyone would think that you were 2 different people the way that your moods swing so violently ;-)
  22. For the last week or so, 19C , you have been posting quite sensible , well thought out, reasonable posts. Then you have started on this thread and we are back to the same old nonsense. Anyone would think you were 2 different people. ;-)
