Agreed. I think its time to put Fry under pressure if he doesnt deliver soon. We no longer have the luxury of time if we want to appoint a decent manager, assess the team and buy and sell in order to make a challenge for a play off place. Leave this takeover any longer with everything else in place and I think we're in another relegation battle next season. Come on Fry... deliver.

Quite agree with this John, which is partly why I have campaigned for an MLT statue by the players entrance at SMS with 'LOYALTY' on the plinth! I appreciate that Lallana may wish to go rather than play League 1 football. However, the point is he is under contract, therefore he can't leave. I appreciate he may move anyway - regardless of who the manager is - but I would like the NEW manager to at least be given the opportunity to appeal to him to stay, the NEW manager to be able to select his squad for this years campaign before we allow anyone else to go. If he still wishes to leave so be it. But he WILL leave under Wotte. There must be no more sales until after the takeover and the managerial position is clarified by the new owners. The new manager must be given the best possible chance of selecting from the current crop of players in order to then hunt for areas he feels he must reinforce... even if the manager is orange.

Partly correct, but watching an exodus of our better young players does not give me any confidence that Wotte has the respect some seem to say he does. Its still partly down to leadership and desire to play for the manager. But, we (and the players) dont know who that is likely to be until Fry stops fannying around and sells the club. I know we've had to sell Surman to buy some time... literally... but that MUST be all that we lose before a new manager can assess his squad and make some decisions for the new owners. Lallana MUST stay until he can at least have the chance of being inspired by the new manager. If Wotte is the new manager, well I would understand why Lallana will want to leave frankly.

We dont know that yet until the new owners come in and appoint a manager who decides whether he is worth his salary. Size and Perry are OK but Thomas could be awesome in this league.

I will support Wotte if he is the manager. Because I'd have had no choice. Frankly though, with the quality available amongst unemployed managers who know League 1 and the CCC and watching the impact of him in maintaining the support of our best youngsters, Surman, Lallana etc.. I do not see an inspirational leader. I hope we are taken over VERY soon. I said a while ago I'd start to panic if we hadnt been sold after June. Seeing Wotte retained and noting we seem no closer to a takeover as we were 3 weeks ago, with yet more buyers emerging to drag out the competition, I am now starting to get VERY CONCERNED. Players are leaving, good young players who we needed to mount a challenge for the playoffs this year with a new manager. (I think Wotte will relegate us to League 2 and will stand by that prediction). Our team is now deserting...note todays Lallana debate. We need strong leadership - strong inspirational leadership NOW in order to rebuild this side and provide hope and optimism to our players AND fans. Time to put the pressure on Fry to sell. He's now had long enough. It's time for a new owner to appoint an inspirational manager to retain our players. Joke's now over Fry.

I would keep Stern John - no doubts. He saved us once and can do it again. He'd massacre the opposition in League 1 frankly. But god I hope we keep the Poles aswell!

Another player wanting to leave 'negative' [surman] Southampton? Or... another player uninspired by Wotte? £500K is a joke for someone with genuine potential. He's way better than Surman. Whats more we need him to SURVIVE in League 1. God we need a takeover and a respected manager to rally the troops. We need it fast.
