Problem is the majority of young players coming through these days are so thick it's unreal, so are totally unable to make decisions for themselves.
I mean look at Shaw, I don't expect he can even spell GCSE let alone have any.
It's been a bit of a nightmare for Shaw, Lovren and Lambert. Lallana has threatened to do OK but has never really looked all that comfortable. Chambers started well but is nowhere to be seen these days. Perhaps a warning for any others thinking of leaving.
Clyne is a strange one. Had it on very good authority that he would jump at the chance of going to Utd - I did read though that they were interested in Dani Alves so maybe their interest in Clyne has cooled. Seems a bit of a turnaround/change of heart for him to stay.
If he could kick a football the second goal would never have happened! I'm stunned by the number of people that have seemingly forgot about his awful clearance.
