I can't understand why Yoshi is so uner valued and under rated, he has been the most relaible during all the CB turmoil. OK he made a few costly back passes a couple of seasons ago but we can't hole that against him for life

Are you a WUM, well even if you don't mean to be you are---what sort of message would that send to every other professional under contract.Just refuse to play and we all bow down to your wishes.
-
Its a horrible situation. Player power looks in control. Somehow the balance has to be restored so that contracts mean something. Its our club thats in the firing line and with a new manager, poor fellow. Manager and Uncle Les need our backing, reckon they are doing well so far.

Didn't Peter Sillett go to chelsea? When I was a boy, maybe early 50s

Regarding Davenport---we haven't now got a fraudulent wheeler dealer manager. It was the choice of manager sent us down

No we don't all agree £75m is an insane amount. If you mean all prices are now insane I would agree but if Stones was £50m last year and Walker is £50m this year then £75m is not unreasonable and could be £90m next year. What will burst the bubble is my question

Fonte has been very well covered. both Yoshi and Stephens played better than Fonte in his old age and now we have the young Polish guy, We will be overcrowded if we sign more fo the same. It's a creative midfield pivot we need
-
Good news! Keep faith with the experienced and the established giving time for the young and the new to make their mark. This summer has seen building blocks in place instead of removed (so far)

£75m seems a mad amount today but the way football is going it may be coomon place this time next year. I would want £90m and then only to think about it

Prefer JWP he's one of our own to Jack wheelchair

How would you feel if no one left but we didn't sign anyone else?
Dellman replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
I would be more than happy. The squad is very good and stemming the flow out the exit door is what matters. Loss of Puel and JRod seems a good summer compared with recent years -
This forum is full of fans who know better than manager, scouts and Les. And they always know why everyone we might sign is not what we want, Weird.

Elegant and graceful player, never in a hurry, sign of class

T0tally agree

I'd rather sign a cheap young option who grows in value and experience than an experienced guy on the wane whose value falls. Our model is perfect for our club. it's got us from the bottom to the top and has kept us solvent and in the top ten of the country. Thanks Liebherrs and thanks Les snd thanks Nicola for setting it up

It must be Bobby Stokes for THAT goal but Terry Paine played 800 times and got us from Div 3 to the top, yep I want two heroes

The idea of buying young talent to coach while holding our established stars is my idea of the pefect plan, we don't need expensive signings if we hold what we've got. Expensive signings often disappoint and not only with Saints, and they often disrupt wage structure and team ethic. So far this summer, so good!

When Alf Ramsey went to Spurs and we were first called a 'selling club', that's nostalgia.

What people call the Fonte debacle gave Stephens his chance and he took it.he now has a five year contract and we have a star in the making. Some debacle!

He's not going. Les said so. Why keep on keeping on? it's a waste of time and space. He's not going. We've got him. He's ours, under contract. Get used to it
