  1. Charlie doesn't want to play, he's on the clubs top pay whether he plays or not, he's overweight and lazy, its no good looking to him for salvation, his day is done
  2. In the days of the dreaded NC we were well run and that gave us the Southampton Way, others coudn't follow it, now look where we are. Come bacl NC and rescue us again
  3. I remember the Branfoot protests, and they worked but I doubt they would have any impact - except negatively on the players - the Board are unknowns to us, not locals as before, the chairman has nothing to do with Southampton or even with England, or even with football, likewise the owners in China. So who would notice a protest? Only the players and they have enough to cope with and need encouragement not criticism , it's not thei fault (well, only partly)
  4. It wasn't kat who got us into the Premier League, it was the much criticised Nicola, I wish he could find another buyer but after the way he's been treated he is probably not bothered
  5. I am season tkt holder in Sherborne (Dorset-Somerset border) and don't see any way of getting to the match. Trains from Exeter to Salisbury are all cancelled and the roads around my house are blocked tho they are probably ok further on,
  6. Rewriting history is always fun, called fake news nowadays
  7. Pellegrino is not going, that's been clear for a while. So why go on about it? And who would we get at this stage of the season anyway? so close the issue and back the team when they need it.
  8. My only question is who will cope with Crouchie?
  9. Before the kick off Man U fans, in groups, were outside racing round and trying to terrorise Saints fans. One group of teenagers pulled my sister's Saints scarf off her neck and raced off with it, she chased them and got hold of the scarf (we've still got it) and they ran off. It was unpleasant at the time and funny ever after
  10. Just stop going on about him. Turn your attention to supporting the team. We've lost one f the last eight someone said, if that's true we should be ok. The problem is at home and judging by this forum I think I know why
  11. I feel the Board is not a football savvy Board and the manager is clearly unfitted for the Premier League but the team is not a joke, we know they are good players with a lot of quality, we've seen it in the past and in international matches. The joke is the way they are managed, and it is a bad joke.
  12. But we lost him at the right time, his day was done and it gave Jack his chance which he took.People say he was a leader but in the end was a trouble maker, such a shame

    Les Reed

I can't see how getting rid of Reed at this stage of the season would do anythiuing except create more disruption and chaos just when we need calm and order
  14. Willian, he makes 'em and he scores 'em
  15. No need for four. Give me Le Tiss and all will be well (as long as the manager doesn't do a Branfoot)
  16. This OP must be a skate stirring trouble
  17. People say he looks gloomy, so do I on current form but imagine the outcry if he was all smiles ans laughter when the team is in the relegation zone. He is a star and we haven't got many.
  18. Why do 'supporters' keep attacking our own players? No wonder so many weant to leave. Mane and Wanyama were rubbished on this forum, noe people wish they hadn't left. It will be the same with Bertrand. We think we have had a troubled season, what do you think the players feel? Muchj worse for sure and if they were smiling and laughing and waving they would be criticised for that.
  19. Rochdale is not noted for having or producing top footballers but Ryan Masion was one of therir own, good to hear them supporting the guy even though he had left them.
  20. NA was the right man at the right time, don't see how anyone can disagree with that. It was his sacking and the arrival of the unknown Poch that upset people. NC did it and was reviled for it but we can see now it was exactly what we needed, a stroke of genius, wish someone could do something similar now, where is today's genius?
  21. Yoshida is safer at the back than Hoedt. He used to get heavy criticism on this forum for his mistakes but he has improved and Hoedt makes more and worse
  22. They care. they run around a lot but like rabbits in the headlights. When they have the ball they have no idea who to pass it to and so they usually pass it back where it came from. That's bad training, it doesn't mean they are not trying. Not one of them want to be relegated any more than we do.
  23. Ron Davies was a world beater with us but didn't do it at Man U and then somewhere else
  24. He is not going, that's clear, so we had better get used to it. With the owners in China and the chairman in Canada who is going to make decisions anyway? Seems to me the only people who really care and suffer are the fans. Everyone else is taking a load of money out of the club, it is only us who carry on putting money in. Its one of life's injustuces and we've got to get used to that as well.
  25. When Kat sold didn't the buyer have to guarantee the continuity of the senior staff as part of the contract?
