Yes, we must have a regular penalty taker who can actually score, Bertrand has scored and he is captain, JWP has scored but doesn't always play, Gabbi has taken two and not scored either. So who should it be?
-
If MH keeps us up it woulod be difficult not to renew, the job will be his. Maybe he only wanted a short contract so that he has a way out if we go down. Then who? I've no idea, we would be in the Redcrapp zone
-
Even on this forum there are those (me for one) who are grateful for the period of amazing success which he presided over. We seem to forget success quickly and malign the people (NC) who broughtr it. Very strange sort of 'support'
-
I don't like what I've seen of Mark Hughes as a player or as a manager but he has the know-how and the experience of premier League and UK in general to make the impact we need immediately and I think he will do that (fingers crossed).
-
Unfortunately this is true which is why he should have been sacked earlier when there was more choice and a transfer window as well; the timing has been a shambles
-
His immediate availability and his long premier league experience make him the obvious choice BUT I have never liked the guy, thought he was miserable when he had a year with us, and have watched his managerial failures ever since. Never thought he would come to us, never the less we will have to look for the best in him and hope for the best---that's the supporters job. Would have preferred the Fulham guy but at least it will be a change and certain to be for the better, nothing could be worse!
-
Please not Hughes, anybody before Hughes. He has no record as a manager, just look at Stoke as a legacy. As someone said he could get two sides relegated in one deason, that would be a record and no one would ever take it off him

If we sack Pellegrino we can still survive

The Board wont be there to hear them and anyway next match isnt till mid April, we're doomed, doomed, I say -
We got rid of the man who got us the reputation. Simple.
-
Two forwards to start? I remember when five forwards started and that was normal...and Saints scored 100 goals in a season, can't remember which year, probably the year Derek Reeves got 40 goals. Happy days!

Excuse me, first gear? No such speed, we are in reverse -
A lot of calls to sack him, me included, but the owners do the sacking don't they? And where are the owners, do thery even know what is happening?
-
Yoshida has shown the most spirit....and he gets left out!
-
Well I read constant attacks on this forum, a real hate campaign against the dwarf and all that, fitzhugh Fella chief among them, hope he is happy now.
-
He has been puushed out, brought in and pushed out like a yoyo. He is still very young and if he was in a team which played together regularly and didn't chop and change every week, we would see the best of him----same applies to others
-
Who got rid of NC, Reed or Kat or the fans, I know there was a campaign against him, I suppose he was too ambitious for us
-
No return for record outlay. Time for resignations
-
If he was laughing joking smiling on the pitch with us in a relegation fight I would be quite worried, he looks like I feel and I undestand that. I am pleased he is captain.
-
Poch left us when the guy who brought him and whose vision persuaded him, was sacked. The ambition went and so did he. Simple and very sad
-
Fitzhugh Fella couldn't stand NC who took us up the leagues and got us Poch...now look where we are
-
Do agree about JWP he is one of the few who have improved this season (Hojberg and Yoshida the others) and those three were all on the bench last match. What is going on?
-
The owners don't interfere The chairman doesn't interfere The fans don't interfere The goalscorers don't trouble anyone Radio Solent covers everything
-
Palace will escape. With a spirit like that and with key players still to return and with secure and experienced management they will be alright. We haven't got any of those things
-
Long is always ready to play, fitter and faster than any, and always gives everything...the other extreme from Charlie
-
Do you remember someone on this forum telling us that he was ten times worse than FF...and that was before he had played. what sort of fans do we have, he was getting the Mane/Wanyama treatment before he started
