  1. Jack Wheelchair...no thanks, a load of trouble and a load of money, we've had enough of that
  2. Prefer Yoshi to Gibson anyday
  3. Yes, after Bobby Charlton had been taken off to rest him for the next game---there was no next game
  4. We may see the best of Redmond (hopefully) under Hughes. He has been destroyed by old manager and so called 'fans'. He can be a match winner, running at defences, the Norwegian guy will cash in on that with a bundle of goals between them
  5. I do remember Uncle Les being rubbished when he signed Caceras who was branded 'old crock looking for a fat chq' before we had seen him
  6. Mark Hughes hasn't much of a record in recruitment judging by the chaos at Stoke. Credit goes to Les
  7. Who says Yoshi is linked with a move away? I hope not, my choice as captain
  8. We've got two centre halves in the world Cup Yoshi and Bednarek playing against each other Poland vJapan, we've got our own Jack S and we've got Hoedt who did well at the crucial end of season. Will we have overload?
  9. Or he is having his holoiday
  10. If we can get £15m for a guy who is almost 30, take it quickly.
  11. Avoid Jack Wheelchair at all costs, all he has proved is his wages are a waste of money and he is not up to it any more, it took Southgate and Wenger a long time to decide but took Emery less than a day. Beware this lazy crock
  12. S must be Bobby because that goal is the stuff of legends, yes Sydenham was a 'great' but nothing like that goal to make him a legend. Shilton? Not even one of our own, probably a legend with Notts Forest
  13. P can only be for Terry Paine...800 games, 18 seasons, from 3rd div to 1st, top goalscorer before Channon and World Cup winner with England. I know Pahars scored a few vital goals in that seaon when he was fit, but compare with Terry...he can't
  14. A ....Dave Armstrong, largely forgotten, bht he was stalwart for several key seasons
  15. W..is a problem, too many to choose from. Must be a place for Steve Williams, though its hard not to have my boyhood idol Charlie Wayman
  16. Nick Holmes, yes, he was a fine player as well as loyal servsnt but Benali, he was wild and rubbish, enthusiastic but that's all
  17. Didn't he come because he knew and liked that twit of a manger?
  18. He's American, what do you expect?
  19. Agree Poch is the best manager, he did it introducing youngsters, LMc did it with old timers having a lst fling (great fun0
  20. More money?
  21. You sound like Leeds under Revie, the most hated team I remember. No thank you.
  22. Yes, and he left because it ws such a tip
  23. REdmond is a perfectly good player who has been badly mismanaged. That's why Pep G took him aside at Man C for a sympathetic chat. He could still come good
  24. Happy to have him as captain, he may not be the world's best player but he's our best team man.
  25. His two goals against Bournemouth marked the turning point for us and for him. Keep him under a proper manager and we'll see the best of him
