  1. How long is his contract for?
  2. VVD was out of the team that got 8th for most of the season and out of the Cup run and final as well
  3. The problem is not just managerial errors it is higher than that--who are the owners, what is their strategy (have they got one?) and where are they? Success or failure begins at the top of any organisation
  4. NC had a long term plan, but we mocked him and it and got rid of him
  5. There sre three good club men that I would rely on in a crisis--JWP, Yoshi and Davis--not stars or genius like le Tiss was but team men. Are they all fit again? And incidentally how much did they all cost, very little, but I wouold rely on them before big money types Boufal and Carillo
  6. so....we will get what we deserve
  7. We've just had three games against fellow strugglers, N'castle, Hammers and Stoke, that was our golden chance but we didn't score a single goal in any of them so.......wen will g et wha
  8. Completely agree, loss of Wanyama, Pele and Mane was the turning point. Strange thing is that none of them were highly rated by the fans while they were here. Wanyama was regarded as a big sulk and Mane was rubbished and invited to return to Africa

    Les Reed

My fear is repoeating the 2005 relegation and facing another fight next year. We haven't got the nous in the scouuting dept now that we had when we got the double promotion, and we're going to need it. What happened to Jason Dodd, I always felt happier when he was around

    Les Reed

God save us from that, he was hopelessly out of date years ago, he was the one who wrote Poch off as 'the foreign lad who can't speak English'

    Les Reed

Who is there to fire Reed? And if he is fired is there anyone on the Board who knows anything about football in England? that is my worry, the sale to absentee Chinese with criminal connections does not encourage me
  12. Absolutely spot on
  13. Who will buy Austin for six matches a season and massive wagers. We are stuck with him and his wages
  14. Yes but Davies and yoshi have been genuine captains but have lost their place Bring them back and JWP, they will give the team some spirit and they are not seeking moves (as far as we know)
  15. Crystal Palace will be ok. Even when they lose they play with energy, commitment and a lot of spirit. Hammers have turned the corner and wont look back. It is Huddersfield and Stoke who are on a losing streak and look all at sea. Unfortunately neither look as bad as we do. We've had our chance by playing Stoke, Hammers and Newcastle and failing to score a single goal. We don't deserve anything. I never expected to say such a thing about my own team. Sad, very sad
  16. Most of the players are preparing their next move, its only the fans that stay and carry on
  17. I would never have left Yoshida out, he gives 100% and was captain--and then diitched. What for?Worst sign of mismanagement is that our two club record signings--Boufal and Carillo are on the bench and the other one Hoedt ought to be. Top players sold and money down the drain...recipe for relegation
  18. At least we are going with two up front...oh er...have either touched the ball?
  19. Carillo was the clown's choice and now the clown has gone, no point in keeping him--but didn't he get a five year contract? If so, we're stuck with him. As for JWP someone says sell him--i say build the new squad round him
  20. Wot no Terry? You can not be serious
  21. Yes, it is the 50+ (I am80+) who may go for Channon even tho' Le Tiss was a one off master in our relegation struggles, we need him now...but overall Channon for me
  22. Are some players just unlucky with injuries or just anxious about playing, and which is Charlie Austin? Remember Charlie George he couldn't play for months after he hurt his finger
  23. He will probably go in the summer and who can blame him? Then this forum will moan about Les selling him, just like Mane and Wanyama and Pele, criticise them and call them useless, until they are gone
  24. Agree the bit about Poch but I remember the anger at the time, he was unknown and old Lawrie Mac called him 'a lad that doesn't speak English' sometimes those in charge -NC at the time-do know best.
  25. Joey Barton? Who takes is word for anything? When he was at QPR didn't his behaviour cost the club dear? No wonder Mark Hughes was disappointd in him, is there any club or manager that has not been let down by him. I haven't liked Hughes in the past but I am sure he is a good professional, which Joey certainly isn't.
