  1. Could be the point that sees us both in the same division next season. A south coast derby is more the just another game. Both draws this season have been like wins to the Skates - and felt like losses to us.
  2. I hope they all get banned - if you dont think it played a part in our players losing focus and Norris scoring the equaliser your simply wrong! Idiots!
  3. Our support was terrible once Pompey scored the equaliser but with the way our players were playing we all though there we go again - and do you know what we were right! One big point - what were you all doing in the bloody pub until kick-off!?! The skates were in the ground 30 mins before kick-off making their players feel at home. If we'd had a packed ground for the warm up maybe we could have unsettled the Pompey players - put the fear of St Mary's in them and won the bloody thing before a ball was even kicked!!!
  4. Thats alright and everything - but I really really wanted to be those dirty skate b*stards - and not just beat them - smash them - to wash away all that pain from the cup defeat and our relegation season - that's twice they've got away with it and got a fecking draw! Well yet again they will be the ones Sha la la bloody la la...ing and laughing tonight! The players really let us ths fans down again. And I've got to go around the bloody skate brother-in-laws tomorrow and play nice!
  5. No end product - at all!

Neither De Ridder or Do Prado are good enough - simples
  7. There keeper made at least 3 if not 4 great saves by they deserved the draw if not more. But their players wanted it more than ours. Do Prado had another bad game - he has game changing moments but for a while now his moments have cost us. At the start of the season his moments of magic were creating goals - now his moments are when he fails to close or chase the ball and the opposition are gifted the ball. Such a moment led to the first Pompey goal which really came out of nothing. Surely after the game at Fratton Park where he bottled it he shoul have been on the bench for this one at best. De Ridder also had yet bother one of those days where he runs fast with ball but fails to do anything with it. He beats his man creates the space, open the game up for the through ball to a red and white shirt with time and space in the box - but does he pass it - oh no he doesn't - he runs down a blind alley snd yet again fails to get the cross in, loses the ball or smashes over the bar! Sharp scored two goals - But he goes down far too easily - and way too often. And why were we playing long balls to the shortest man on the pitch!? Lallana also went down too easily - and really should have stayed on his feet to score at the end. Morgan's injury could be the worst result from today's game - he's more important to us than most people realise. We will really miss him if he's out for long. Cork had a great time - we really need him to step up now - and for Chaplow to get his form back. Our fullbacks need to learn how to defend and the whole team need to learn how to defend against width and pace. And why oh why did we kick the ball long with a minute to - giving away possession??? I have a horrible feeling today's result could well see us play each other again next season in the same division. Momentum can be a horrible thing. And despite what anyone may say todays was not just another game. Pompey have done the double on us this season from where I'm sitting - our players have really let us down when it matters in my opinion! Whichever division we're in next season Guly and Steve need to be replaced - and we need tovbuy fullbacks that can actually defend!
  8. I was sat right behind the goal for the second half in the front row - Grobbelaar let the goals in - I distinctly remember him diving for a save with his arm outstretched but folding his arm back as he did so he failed to save the hit and hope shot from Ronnie Rosenthal.
  9. that's not bad - but not everyone want to sit there and the tickets elsewhere are more expensive - besides if you've been made redundant or are under the threat of redundancy and you've got household bills and a mortgage to pay its hard to justify spending £23 on a ticket whatever its for
  10. Your probably right - but lets enjoy the possibilities for now!
  11. La la la la .....who laughing now!
  12. Republican all the way. Just as I am English and not British. And just as I'd rather be a citizen and not a subject. The royal family and the British Empire are in the past - we should leave them there and look to the future. The royal family are also the cornerstone of our class system which still holds so many people back. The very fact they exist gives truth to the lie that people are born better then others - and its who you are or where you are from that matters - not what you do. A president is not the only alternative to a King, Queen or Prince either. Just as the House of Lord could and should be elected in some way. The Speaker of the House of Commons (OK Bercow is not the best example of this) and/or the Leader of the House of Lords could and should be our heads of State. We could even have an elected Lord Protector and go back to the title used by Oliver Cromwell. People also seem to forget that William and Anne were 'invited' to be the King and Queen of England/Scotland/Wales as James II was deposed with the Glorious Revolution - so everything they own is ours anyway! Besides they are more Greek, Dutch, German and Scottish than English! Just like we did with the Magna Carter, the English Civil War and the Glorious Revolution the English people need to be more radical.
  13. You could add Wade Elliott, Brian Howard, Sam Vokes, Lucas Juktiewitz, Josh McQouid and Danny Ings to that list as well then!
  14. Camara like Fuller was a headless chicken. Camara scored one or two great goals - but apart from that what did he do - he made us worse - he didn't pass the ball, ram down blind alleys and didn't track back. He may have scored a few for himself but his selfish play wasted an awful lot more scoring opportunities for the rest of the team.
  15. I'd have taken Juktiewitz over Tandanari - no question. What we lack most is a 6ft 2 centre forward to lead the line. Imagine Lambert playing as the second striker behind Juktiewitz - exploiting the space created by someone pressing the oppositions centrebacks - and having someone else that is good in the air. I've not seen Sharp play but I hope he's as good as some people say.
  16. Falque was a terrible mistake - he'll be back in Spurs reserves before the end of the season just to get some game times as I don't think he will get anymore here. Leicester, Cardiff, Brum and West Ham all have squads that our much better than ours on paper. Player for player certainly - it was the way we were playing at the start of the season that was making the difference. Now we seem to have lost our way - and the individual quality of the players in their squads is now making a real difference.
  17. De Ridder also proved he can't play in a 442 - he's neither a winger nor a striker. He's a wide forward who comes from Dutch football and is used to playing in a 443. Too often he overran the strikers, then remembered he supposed to be crossing the football not taking the shot himself - then he ends up cutting the ball back behind the striker, running down a blind alley!
  18. Barnard had 2 shots in the short time he was on and showed the aggression you need in the English game - which is more than Tandanari did to be honest. Tandanari may have run around a lot but several times was just brushed off by Millwalls defence - he didn't see that much of the ball as most of the time he didn't see to want it! People are kidding themselves if they think he's going to be our great hope. Sorry! Give me Barnard any day of the week.
  19. Maybe I'd agree with you if we'd signed a new rightback and a centreback - and maybe a proper winger - as well as a striker. Falque and Tandanari were not really statements of intent - nor was settling for keeping Puncheon - probably the exact opposite. Although getting Puncheon back in the team may turn out to be out best bit of January business.
  20. Lee won't be making more than the odd sub appearance after tonight - unless game time is written into his contract - or the one with the Japanese media. Japanese football must be down there with the Scottish Premier.
  21. Just got back - our full backs were both terrible tonight, De Ridder has no end product and Tandanari Lee is way out of his depth in Championship football, we have no width, lack a real centre forward, p*ss around with the football too much and have no one to long ball it to when under pressure - or when the short ball is not on. We may pass the ball well at times - but we have no variety in our play - we are very predictable - we'd rather pass it sideways than forward! Maybe a really negative view but we really lacked drive, energy and creativity tonight! Saying that Lallana goal was pure class - but it was all about the individual - not the team. It was also the first timex I've seen Ben Reeves play and he looked a class above. Great first touch, composed on the ball and by far our most incisive passer of the ball tonight. He actually played the ball forward and looked for the strikers with the through ball.

We may be second from top but since November we've looked more like a team that second from bottom
  23. What about Winchester? It's a bloody rugby town isn't it! Will the White Swan/Mucky Duck being showing the Saints game - does anyone know?
  24. Alex Smithies?
  25. I thought our youth team was supposed to be good - they are obviously not! More false promises!?!
