That’s pretty much it. Your point re Lewis lack of loans hampering his career is spot on, and applies to many of our younger players. We’ve had a lot of talented youngsters who’ve not developed because of a lack of football. Lewis is a very good keeper, and I never saw what Gunn gave us that Lewis couldn’t as for me Lewis has no less potential. Hopefully Lewis will get first team football this year as sitting here as 4th choice will do him no favours.

He's a shocker. You'd like to be able to look at the u21's for an alternative bit Boothroyd is even worse. How either of them got the top 2 jobs is anyone's guess. We're going nowhere with those 2 in charge of the 1st team and under 21's.

Agreed. Leaving Grealish on the bench and putting Calvert Lewin down the left made so sense whatsoever. Grealish should have gone there. Alternatively, rather than Henderson in the middle, Mount could have moved back and Grealish taken his place further forward. Southgate just seems to want to accommodate his favourites rather than playing the best players in their best positions. Appalling manager.

No it won't. To add to that, no team getting promoted will have any prospect of being competitive because the parachute payments will end meaning they will struggle to sign players.

Who can blame them. Money for nothing, and they aren’t impacted by the big 6 getting stronger. For them, fantastic. For us, shit.
-
Our left side is shocking. So predictable - we're never going to get anywhere with right footed balls swung in from 20+ yards out. Grealish should be out there.

You make a good point, although I am intrigued to know what he believes the virus is. The sandwich shop lady told me the other day that "they" are making it all up to make us a cashless world. She had no idea who they are though, or why they would decimate the world economy for a bit more tax revenue from the likes of her, barbers, builders and taxi drivers.

Have a little Google MLG. It's easy to find out that this guy had a mare at Bordeaux. Perhaps post some links to evidence that he'd be good news.

Excellent post and echoes my thoughts. My only caveat is that the smaller clubs would have been turkeys voting for Christmas unless they had some reassurance that it wouldn't go that way. Either way, I ain't paying 15 quid to watch a match on TV.

Out of respect for other forum users trying to read about the possible takeover, I'll resist the temptation to pull that nonsense apart. I've allowed you the little insult your ego needed - let's leave it there, but the pm invite is always there if you want a frank exchange of views.
-
I'll take your inability to answer two simple questions as an acceptance that the answers will make you look like a tin hat wearing loon.

Thanks for your interest in my thoughts Hypo, although my post (referring to factual details from companies House) on the other thread was fairly clear. Please let's keep this thread about the possible takeover, not you're need for attention. If you want to pm me about anything please do, but I'm not willing to help you take another thread off course.

Ha!! Only posted once, glitch.

Hypo, don't turn another thread into your itk stuff. This thread has been resurrected, leave it on track.

The guy sounds a shocker. Gao, despite his lack of cash, has never sold us down the river. This guy sounds like he would. Very much a be careful what you wish for imo - we're better as we are from what I can see.

I've called nobody thick. You've said it's not a virus but won't say what you say it is. You say people are brainwashed and need to see "the truth" but won't say what you say the truth is. I've asked you to explain more than once. You haven't - that says it all. All you covid conspiracy theorists fall down when asked to explain your stance. It's just no virus, bill Gates, microchip, control, the real world power, and other mad shit. Nut cases.
-
You duck the issue... If you don't think it's a virus, what is it? What is your understanding of "the truth"?
-
Yoy referred to it as "the virus". If you don't think it's a virus, what is it? What is your understanding of "the truth"? In answer to your question, I can't explain why we're still playing football. I can't explain other people's decisions. You can explain your theories though, and having read your posts, I'm genuinely at a loss to understand what you believe is going on.

A week or so ago you called it a ‘so called virus’. I’m glad that you’ve now got a toe in the real world and accept it is a virus. Next please try to move away from living or dying , and understand what this virus can do to those who survive it. The damage the virus actually does is “the truth” - perhaps try to see the actual truth rather than persuading people that there’s an alternative truth. With that said, if you have a theory/version of “the truth”, can you spell it out?

My village FB page yesterday told the story of multiple parents receiving texts from their child's school that they needed to come home and self isolate for 14 days. The reason - a child tested positive at the weekend but was still sent to school by the parents. The kid went around telling people she was positive, yet she remained in the school until yesterday. 300+ kids now have to isolate; people who share the school bus need to trace/isolate; and more to the point, loads of people are likely to have been infected. No amount of government policy will stop people being idiots, or stop the spread now. I was a keen lockdown man early doors, now I'm of the point that the focus should be on hammering home the need to self isolate and get a test wen required, and clamping down on those who don't do that. Everything else is pointless now and we can't decimate the economy anymore.
