All these people suggesting Luaks Juke, or Jay Rod....I don't think they'll give us anything different. They're big target men...with a bit about them, but if we were to go for a striker I'd like it to be someone who can play on the shoulder, get in behind and be versatile enough to offer width and pace down the flanks if needed.

I'm delighted mate, this season has exceeded my expectations without any doubt. We're in a stunning position. It's just that our away form is starting to cause a bit of concern. It's true that the only reason we're top is because of our home form, our away form has been questionable all year - bottom half I think. I don't think we can just ignore it and I'm sure Adkins isn't, it's a problem and needs to improve for the new year f'sure.

We need some pace up front, without a doubt. Maynard for me, or Sordell....someone to stretch the opposition, because we just don't have that at all. Pace can get you out of jail in away games. De Ridder is an impact player for me, he just doesn't have the same effect from the start that he has when he comes off the bench. Very frustrating player as he promised a lot more than we're currently seeing!

Possible a couple of games, although he's always been a quick healer so wouldn't rule out next week.

horrendous result result, to sum up our horrendous away form! Only one reason we're doing so well, and that's because of our home form! We really need to sort out our away form because our inevitable defeats at home will occur, and we are throwing away relativity ''easy'' away games....when we have away @ boro, whu and Leeds to come. I think we miss Chaplow without a doubt, we miss his drive, energy, harrying and the general pain he makes of himself - he gave us an edge in games like this. Without him we lack that bite and our midfield is pretty boring and uneventful. Lallana quite clearly isn't fit, and we didn't have Lambo. All equals a pretty poor afternoon really. Blessing is WHU's result, amazing. We just need to pick ourselves up, beat Blackpool, thrash the skates and win our 2 xmas home games. Do that and we're looking good. Still a long way to go, but you feel this is the inevitable slump - but the question is how long will it go on for..?

Not a great deal, alot of it is mental though. psychologically we feel invisible at home and that feeling kind of gives you a 12th man - away from home you've got to say the doubts possibly creep in and we're not being allowed to play with the space that we can do at home. It doesn't help when we have no width though.

We're missing that option to ''pump it'' up top today, sometimes that's worked well for us away from home. We certainly lack the presence and power up top without Lambo, although no surprise - any team would.

It could do if it doesn't improve! No way to dress it up. I'm confident we'll get it going again though. - starting today!
