Brighton have mopped up anyone east of Fareham though being top side on the south coast now.
-
Put it down as a learning curve mate, today you discovered league two is cheaper than the Premier league. Do you think 20 years on too many of our fans are still stuck with a Dell sized mentality?
-
The way this season is going we'll probably with 4 or 5 but get enough draws to stay up
-
Brighton will not be relegated.

I agree with you, I think we have a ticket and marketing team who have been very naive, probably compared us to London clubs like Spurs and Chelsea and decided we need more premium high price tickets. Despite Hampshire having some wealthy areas we just don't have the demand for that sort of thing, last few seasons hospitality regularly has large empty areas and executive boxes remain empty so who knows why they thought we needed £89 padded seats in the Kingsland, just a way of pushing out legacy fans. I know lads who go to Spurs, even with the bigger stadium it seems there's a never ending supply of people looking for tickets, on the other hand Saints promise we can sell back our season ticket for games we can't get to, but only if the match is already sold out, doesn't look like that will be happening this season.

Most of them were in the newspaper, I'll try to dig it out. Quite a few impressive attendances in lower leagues as well, 27k at Sheff Utd v Peterborough for example.
-
There's category A - D this season, we've got Burnley at home coming up that is one of only two games at D level, cheap prices but will also be small away following so expect to see plenty of empty seats still.
-
Yeah they are still published, being an anorak I always have a look at the attendances, we don't seem to have published the West Ham attendance but I'd say we were the only Premier league game not sold out on Saturday, imagine if west ham hadn't brought 3300 down it would have been even worse.

I completely agree, just making the point we can now change the whole defence without any reduction in quality, hopefully means we can cope with injuries and have a good go at the cups.
-
Just a look at match attendances and TV viewing figures will show you interest levels, they are promoting it under equality agenda not because there is demand. They've also stopped referring to them as Ladies games "coming up we've got live coverage of Man City v Spurs" didn't realise that was on, click on link and it's women's football clogging up the news feed, if I wanted info on women's game have a separate page for it and I can follow that. England Women playing a world Cup qualifier at St Mary's on Friday evening, cheap tickets and we've only opened one stand so far.
-
I'd have thought so, back up centre backs of Lyanco and Bednarek looks pretty strong with KWP at right back
-
Completey agree, watched him closely yesterday, he reads the game well and is the most vocal player in our side, especially with Livramento , a quality we desperately need and no one else seems to do that.
-
Every now and then City have a game when they don't click, Spurs away already this season and I remember their draw at home to WBA last season, you never know. Most likely we'll lose 3-0 after playing well first half, Pep will say we were one of the best teams they've faced and give Redmond a cuddle coming off the pitch. Only 100 or so tickets left out of our 1500 allocation, decent numbers travelling when you consider our record there.
-
Doesn't seem to be affecting other clubs in the Premier league? Perhaps they have larger reserve of fans who are ready to take the place of those who had stopped coming. People I know who aren't going is mainly due to getting out of the habit and spending £50 just doesn't appeal, need a run of victories to tempt them back as our poor form of 2021 isn't going to.

He seems a top chap, takes a genuine interest in local area, walks the jurassic coast footpaths, certainly not a typical modern day footballer.
-
Unfortunately that category is based on our facilities, we've got category 3 performances rock bottom last season, relegated and 4 games in its deja vu back to bottom spot once more.
-
Getting their usual beating tonight, when is someone going to put the B team out of their misery and let them drop down a few levels?
-
He's getting a bit injury prone in his old age
-
He sounds like a right knobhead, born and raised in Southampton, used to go to The Dell with his Dad, has a "soft spot" for Saints but supports Man Utd. Fuck off.

Independent Lawro has us down to win, not entirely he'll be right but fingers crossed.

I think other than the Itchen south "cheap seats" the club have the pricing wrong for the rest of the ground, not just the £70 padded seats not proving popular, this is £40 block 15 of the Chapel as of now, one day before the game. Could blame covid but other clubs don't seem to have a problem filling the ground again.

I think it would help the women's goalkeepers if they reduced the size of the goals, they are generally not as tall as their male counterparts and jumping seems to be an issue.

He said Lyanco long term project, can't speak very good English yet, Romeu helping with some translation
