Ask at the station for a group save 4 return to London with travelcard . Usually worth buying in advance as they have stopped selling that offer at times on busy days.
-
well summed up mate, it is an absolute shambles, if i could be arsed, or if i miss out on any tickets, i'll be sending lots of angry emails to them, what is the point of offering "points" for sheff wed at home, and then Leeds away, and then just ignore those games? the club is a joke when it comes to operational management.

edited typo wrong cup detail - 1990
-
many times over the years, particularly memorables ones being 7-1 around 1997, recall a 3-0 defeat in FA Cup 3rd round we took thousands up there for that. 3-2 win with David Hirst scoring was a good one.
-
to be fair this was reported in papers as being a done deal, so something obviously changed to call it off, Boruc being investigated is probably this issue.
-
a lot of our fans are either too thick to see that, or so desperately want to be a "premier" club and do things like they do, i.e, disrepect cup competitions caught up in our own desire to stay in the league. even Alex Ferguson has said it is the international breaks that mean his players never get any rest time, look at our squad, in the last international break most of them effectively had a two week rest.
-
players pick up injuries in training as well, resting them in these games is no guarantee they'll be fit for the next match. last season we played 46 league games, this year we will have 38. i can understand the top teams resting players. 38 league games, number of cup, champions or Europa League, plus significant number of their players get international call ups, meaning their squad will play several more games a season than ours will. we are stupid for not identifying this cup as a good chance of success, and the fans are being mugged putting up with it.
-
we had a stronger squad for those games, against weaker teams, therefore giving ourselves a chance of winning and doing so. here we faced a harder task and needed to asjust for it, instead we got even weaker. if you enjoy being made a mug of paying for that then good for you.

the idiots running the show have no idea what they are doing mate, in this case not concerned about getting a ticket as over 3000 is a decent allocation but the principle of the matter is their loyalty points system is misleading and is not fit for purpose.
-
i assume he means people paid money to watch two teams trying to beat each other in a football match, only to turn up and discover only one side had any real intentions of doing so. i have emailed the club to ask for a certificate of authentisity for my 20 loyalty points from Sheff Wed game.
-
No, because we actually put out what can be deemed as our strongest side and therefore made an attempt at competing. last night we didn't and the players knew it from the start.
-
:uhoh:i still want to know what they have done with the 20 loayalty points i got for attending the Sheff Wed game
-
Slightly different , I was there as well plus other rubbish away performances at walsall , tranmere etc. At least we put out what was a competitive team. Tonight we didn't. It was a kamikaze line up destined for defeat
-
Les Reed was the main reason for the falling out with Pardew . Don't underestimate his influence at the club.

Refund the fans who travelled from the players wages. If they're going to put in a shambles performance no fight , no shots on goal then no pay. Give it to the lads on the terraces
-
Same I'm hearing from the lads who travelled
-
No it wouldn't some of us would like to actually challenge for a trophy and GIVE IT A GO this is just like palace last year could see it coming a mile off when that team was announced.
-
Exactly this. They should refund the fans for that **** team and performance
-
They are professional sportsman who have a week until the next game , all we are doing is continuing our losing streak putting that team out.
-
So just like palace in the 4th round last year we get to the 4th round of the cup and put out an even weaker team than we had in previous rounds. Same again I'm afraid 2-0 defeat on the cards.

He was drinking in the cricketers later in the evening.

forgot to say saw Le Tiss coming out of the kingsland, he was very casual and stopping for pics with anyone who asked for one, definitely raised the spirits of fans after the game.

That is an absolute scandal and i think we should demand answers on this, the ex-saints is a great organisation keeping former players in touch, playing charity game and fundraisers such as Q&A for the Kevin Moore fund, lots of ex-legends who love the club, they do have connections with McMenemy who attends some dos but that shouldn't make any difference, what a scandal and what a petty c*nt Cortese is if this is true. Wouldn't surprise me at all from the several other things i've heard about him.

football should never be neutral, the whole point of going to support your team is that you are with other fans of the same club singing etc. good mate of mine is a Fulham season ticket holder, they do see it as a point of embarrassment highlighting not only the low numbers of support but the fact they have to put up with lots of Aussies who have adopted Fulham as a club while living in west london. the only vocal support they have go at the back of the Hammersmith end. The Putney end is full of japs, aussies, posh dads with their sons who have decided to see some Premier action. anyway - back to the original post, if you want to go to this and think you might not get a ticket in our end, then but as soon as you can for the neutral section as it is the same end all mixed in. when they play other london clubs they whole end is basically away fans.
