Spot on there. At least they have some talent unlike most of the squad. If they leave and we are left with the likes of Wotton, Pulis and Smith in League 1 i think we will be in league 2 soon after.

Still better than Wotton though.

Young talented player in loss of form in first full season, shock!

Basically he's a liability being too slow to offer any protection apart form the odd foul and header, he can't pass and can't run. I watched him closely at Blackpool and he couldn't get near the play. Morgan Scheiderlin might not tackle but i'd rather him as a ball playing holding midfielder anyday. At least he has some skills and can run unlike Mr Hoof.

Can you explain the reason for Wotton being in your selection please? i.e what he adds to the team apart from shouting?

Saints playing with 9 men now Smith has joined hoofer Wotton on the pitch :-( probably 2 of the worst players ever to play for Saints.

Have a look at Pulis's cv? it's not rocket science to see how ****e he is even before he ever plays for Saints. Same goes for Milwall reserves and Plymouth cast off's.

Probably to do with people watching him recently at games and him being man of match/Saints best player etc. He also played well earlier in season before like alot of players got injured and lost form.

Just read Wotte's qoute on OS that Wotton did well when coming on as sub versus Blackpool? Now i've never been a fan of Wotton's and have not seen him play well at any game i've been to so i decided to just watch him for about 15 minutes in the second half. He was shouting alot to players which is ok but he was so slow he could not get near the ball for long periods of the game. His passing on the few times he got the ball was poor and apart from a few headers, miss tackles and shouting at team mates including an arguement with Seijis he was never in the game. Other posters rated his performance on the post match thread and along with Wotte obviously see something i have missed?????

This is really bad news as Gillett has been our best midfielder recently and the only player who gets stuck in and tackles. I don't think Saints have a replacement in the squad. Wotton is too slow to make a tackle, Surman and Schiederlin can't tackle. Saints have to get a loan player in now or we're fooked.

Norwich got young striker Mooney in on loan who has scored some vital goals recently. Plymouth got exerienced midfielder Fletcher in from Palace.

Same and have been saying it for a while that our relegation rivals are all making efforts to stay up while Saints do nothing. Lack of goals is going to be very costly but alot of people including those at the club seem to think we don't need anyone.
